SIBO and Yakult
After reading an article/study I have been taking Yakult now for over 4 weeks for what I thought might be
SIBO
(diarrhoea for many years which made me feel quite weak - colonoscopy revealed nothing).

Hashimoto's and not feeling better
Things I have tried previously but did not help: gluten-free diet, avoiding intolerable foods, avoiding dairy,
sibo
treatment, antidepressants/other meds, exercising, NDT, T3, adrenal supplements, etc. I am currently so unwell that I can't work.

Unfortunate 3 month review
Around the time I was last here, I had been newly diagnosed with
SIBO
privately (that I had previously suspected I had for roughly a year and a half, but the NHS shooed me away on countless occasions).

first steps to take if you’re noticing symptoms?
I was vegetarian for 6 years and started eating fish a year ago, I eat fairly clean and only eat dairy on occasion (which I definitely feel afterwards lol) #trappedgas #IBS #

Skullcap for RLS
I have idiopathic RLS and
SIBO
and have tried just about everything I could over the last 35 years. It was quite normal for me to average 3hrs of sleep per night, so I find the treatment remarkable to say the least.

Update
Currently I am waiting for my private endo (who is also overseeing my apparent gastrointestinal problems) to get back to me as far as antibiotics and instructions on how to get rid of the
SIBO
, and I have also been sent home with a long list of supplements to take until my
SIBO
clears (fingers crossed

SIBO/bacterial overgrowth
Anyone else dealing with
sibo
as the possible reason for low b12. I had a test done and it found high levels of bad bacteria in my digestive system. Not sure it’s
sibo
but that’s what doc thinks.

My SIBO and ibs
He’s going to do another breath test to see if my
SIBO
has gone. See I started probiotics and seen to have got much worse. I really wanted to call ambulance this morning but they would only give me pain relief and send me home to wait till I see the gastroenterologist face to face in 6 weeks.

SIBO and Antibiotics
I have been seeing a Gastro consultant who is almost certain that I am suffering from
SIBO
. I really struggle to tolerate any oral antibiotics. I have tried Rifaximin, ciprofloxacin ,vancomycin and Doxycycline and have not been able to take any them for any more than 2 days.

Cloudy stool? Big discharges of mucous?
We wonder if anyone here had the same symptoms, because we can't figure out if this is related with UC or IBS/
SIBO
. We are waiting for the results of a stool test, but I would like to have more information while waiting. Thanks!

Chest Pain, bladder pain, leg aches...mycoplasma from my cat??
I spent alot of time and money focussing on
SIBO
, I cleared it temporarily by not eating for 3 weeks (elemental diet) but my pain was still there, so I am confident the pain is not
SIBO
.

Stopping oral supplements before blood tests
Assuming I don't have PA and the B12 is not being guzzled by
SIBO
, anyone want to hazard a guess as to what they might have climbed to? I haven't had any of the PA tests (GP says the labs would refuse to do them on a reading of 201 ng/L).
