Hello just an update haven’t been on for a while. I’m still having terrible symptoms especially in the morning does anyone suffer worse symptoms in the morning I literally can’t get out of bed until 12 ruining my life. Doctors are useless I can’t even see my gastroenterologist face to face unless I pay private again Amber x

What SIBO symptoms do you have. I was also diagnosed with SIBO in December, and am going for a retest next week. It is awful--worse than IBS, although that is bad enough. x

Mine was similar, except I didn't have nausea. I did have the pain and the constant gurgling. Also I was very tired. Often went to bed at 8:30, plus sometimes a nap during the day. I took rifaxamin which did help, but then I had to take dental antibiotics a few months later, and things got worse again. xx

Sounds like what I had last year

Oscar091, I hope the information in these links offer relief for you. Thiamine requires magnesium's enzymes to become bioactive. Stress and pain cause magnesium loss leading to a possible deficiency. Always consult your health care professional before using any supplement.

SIBO is caused by food fermenting in the gut and feeding the bacteria - and yes it was always worse in the morning. Stop eating food which ferments and stick with the low fodmaps for a while to clear out the gut - drink more water - take extra fibre with something like psyllium to help with the clear out. Substitute oats if you have cereal and avoid wheat and things like beans which are very hard to digest - chew everything thoroughly before you send it down into the system - there are no teeth further down :)
