Urine test
Hi, I always had blood in my urine but the last 3 times I had my urine checked by my gp I also had leukocytes cells (white blood cells) but no sign of infection. Plus usually my blood pressure was high but recently has been slighty on the low side. Does it mean my kidneys are under stress? Should I

Cortisol levels
Hi I’m not sure if anyone can help with this but I’m a little confused! Last Jan I did a 24 hour urine test for cortisol levels. The label fell off my first sample so I had to repeat. I’ve had a print out of lots of results from my doctor but when looking for cortisol levels I can’t find anything! This

I pulled this article from my research and thought I'd post it here to clarify some concerns people may have. If anyone ones the original location and any links it has please go to http

Urination symptoms? Does it sound like endo? Anyone else get this?
Since I was 16 (24 now) I’ve had pain during urination. I can manage the pain by drinking enough water, for some reason the fuller my bladder is the less painful it is to go. But if I don’t drink enough, or if I’ve drank alcohol, I get a pain which is just like having a urine infection. Right before

Is this normal two months after my laparoscopy?
Hi all, hope some of you can help! My laparoscopy and excision was on 27th February, so it has been just over two months now. I was put back on Lucette just after my first post-surgery period, and my last period was definitely slightly better (pain wise). However, I'm having a few issues at the moment

My Rheumy appointment
Saw him on Friday and he doesn't think I've got GCA or PMR and wants me to come off the Pred within 6 months, then see him again!! I had blood and urine tests while at hospital, and a chest X ray and now waiting to hear from the doctor for an appointment. I've reduced my Pred over the weekend from 30mg

Canestest false positive results
Has anyone used self-test (Canestest) for vaginal infections and had false positive results? I have been treated with antibiotics for kidney infection and going by urine testing this has cleared up. I did the self-test and I could feel a sore area at top left of vagina. The tester turned blue which suggests
