Could it be PID?

Hi all,

So over the past few months I have been experiencing so very horrid symptoms including right sided pelvic pain (both twinges and prickly pain), menstrual cycles in which the blood is going more brown, and pain in my lower back and hip.

I have had urine tests which were negative for infection. Blood tests which showed my inflammation markers where high. An ultrasound which showed my ovaries, uterus and cervix to look normal. And a cervical swab test for unusual bacteria and chlamydia which came back negative. I have been exclusive with my fiance for 7 years so did not think it was an STI anyways.

My question is, could this be PID even though the swab was negative? I have heard that PID can be caused by a woman's own bacteria so I'm wondering if this would be picked up as unusal on a swab test?

Any help would be appreciated :)
