Good morning all, After my positive morning yesterday with deciding to take my total 40mg at 6 am and not split as usual (20MG 6AM 20MG 6PM) due to insomnia this was a BIG mistake. I awoke at 2am in a lot of pain and felt like I was back at square one. My tablets are not coated (Dr says too expensive

? Oxford Biosciences Methylcobalamin
Hello. Am wondering if any of those who use this brand have any feedback on the products? I know methylcobalamin is light sensitive, is it heat sensitive as well? Thinking that shipping to the US from the UK might take a couple of weeks, at least, and wondering how well it would hold up during transit

Results of ultrasound
Hello; My doctor ordered blood and urine tests. Then he ordered an ultrasound. These are the findings: 1. Bilateral, nonspecific hyperechoic foci within the kidney could be suggestive of nonobstructive nephrolithiasis, renal artery calcifications or prominent echogenic renal sinus fat. 2. No hydroureteronephrosis

PSA and UTI
Hi Everyone, My father was recently hospitalized with a UTI and Sepsis. He finished his 10 day course of antibiotics on 7/19. His tests on 8/1 showed a PSA of 19.5, up from 4 in his previous test two months prior. He has been on Abiraterone for almost a year and his PSA had slowly been falling from

Gfr reading at 55, but nothing showing up on urine sample
Got my gfr reading at 55, though my urine sample was ok and my ultrasound didn’t show any abnormalities. I am aged 50 but don’t know what exactly is going on. My current doctor GP is retiring in a month and she is the one flagging this up, her replacement is saying that I don’t have anything to worry

Which is more accurate? Urine calcium test or blood test
Does anyine know which test is more accurate. My calcium urine test came back low via medichecks, but my blood test via my GP came back normal. My GP said to dismiss the urine one from medichecks as the blood test they did is a lot more accurate. Obviously doctor knows best but im wondering why the urine

Curious about what's going on?
Did anyone here was diagnosed as a CKD patient through only the blood test? what about if someone don't have blood or protein in his urine?? his eGFR above 60? why some doctors say that eGFR of 60 and about don't have CKD? and other say other things? my urine test is NORMAL and ultrasound is NORMAL

Lyme Testing
Hi , I have been online most of today looking at tests here in the UK and overseas trying to decide the right test to take to diagnose /rule out Lyme . I eventually decided the new DNA urine test by DNA connexions would be the easiest fastest and more accurate , it also tests for co infections.

Random Exhaustion?
So I've been having this issue for a while, but its starting to get A LOT worse. Pretty much I've been having really bad exhaustion spells. They include dizziness, nausea, weakness, stumbling, blurry vision, being unable to walk properly, and other things. I'm not completely sure what is making it happen

Cancer undiagnosed thanks to GP
Some of you may remember my posts about having kidney problems that my GP and rheumatologist states were nothing to do with Lupus and despite emergency visits to hospital. I spoke about my GP denying me further treatment, even last year when my urine test was so toxic an old GP rang me to say I may

New rationale for treatment
Wondered if anyone else is on this regimen? I received 3 injections of lucentis at monthly intervals with increasingly bad reactions. The last one caused burning that lasted 12 hours, followed by the gritty feeling ( worse than ever/ which didn't really ease up. After several days I rang the hospital

Official testing day and first blood test done
Hi all, So relieved to have the official test over with today. We had already done two pregnancy tests at home, so knew it would be positive when doing the urine test at the clinic. That definitely helped us cope with the nerves. First blood test results back in too... 751, which the nurse said was

Anyone else get bad pains after Metronidazole?
Hi folks. Had a bad flare-up and went to the doctor to get my abdomen checked (in case of appendicitis - you know the drill). My urine sample showed high ketone levels so it seemed I was dehydrated. She sent me to Emergency to get a drip. They gave me a CT and an ultrasound to check my innards, and there

Getting nowhere and struggling to cope
Honestly don't know where to start. Symptoms became bad enough earlier this year for me to start going to Drs to find out what was wrong, kept getting told it's all in my head but they did the rigmarole of a smear, ultrasound urine test etc to find nothing. I even went to a sexual health clinic just
