Need your advice, pls, what should I take and how?
Hey all, I've been on a bit of a journey, unwell for the past few years, diagnosed 2012, did awesome on thyroid meds until...I didn't. Since I have now all cofactors optimal (vit D, B12, folate, iron, ferritin - after iron IV, magnesium), I feel my problem either stems from cortisol issues or balance

Considering NDT
Hello everyone, It’s been a while since I have posted! I wish I could say it’s because I have been doing really well on my thyroid journey. I have been very unwell, picking up infections and having allergic reactions to antibiotics that left me with swelling around my eye and now a really ‘nice’ scar

Advice about recent NDT thyroid blood tests and high SHBG
Hi there! Is there any connection between high SHBG and taking NDT thyroid medication? I've been feeling better than ever on my Erfa thyroid medication and I don't feel over medicated at all, but I had high SHBG. My estradiol also seems high. I've read that one reason for high SHBG can be hyperthyroidism

Vit B/Folate Advice Needed Please
Ever since having my jabs in October I felt very ill initially and then I have carried on feeling unwell and so recently I did an advanced thyroid test with Medichecks and realised my thyroid was out of kilter so I've upped my NDT by 1/8 grain (knowing I had some wiggle room). My vitamins all took

re: newbie
hello all. I am 39 year old mother to 3 children. I have found this group after looking for somewhere to purchase NDT, after having read the stop this thyroid madness book. i had a routine blood test back in july, due to complaints of fatigue/weight not budging and cold toes and hands. To my disbelief

Anyone know the optimal progesterone range for day of FET? (Question for my sister!)
Hi lovely people, I hope you are all well. My sister finally had her only euploid embryo from several ICSI rounds transferred on Saturday. She is feeling a little stressed as her clinic prefers a progesterone level above 80 on the day of transfer and hers was 50 (supplements upped since). I’ve tried

Hashi's & Menopause/HRT - weight loss help!
Hi all, I have Hashimoto's and have been on levo 75mg with combined HRT (oestrogen patch and progesterone pill) for a few years. Had a total hysterectomy almost 2 years ago, but they left my ovaries, due to extensive endo, adenomyosis and fibroids. But I have literally been stuck in limbo since then

USA changes status of NDT products. Their 'Grandfathered' status is to be removed.
All NDT products status will be changed from natural to biological and as such will have to go through the same rigorous process as is expected of other biologic drugs. They must comply with this and be approved by 2029 to continue. In addition the FDA has given permission to individual state to ban

NDT Users - Split Dosing
If you use NDT and you dose it twice a day, how much of a gap do you leave between the two doses? And how do you determine how much to take in the first dose and how much in the second? I've tried once a day and it doesn't work for me. I run out of steam. I've tried three times a day, 8 hours apart

Bruises, Ankles Swelling, ETC.
Never a dull moment. Diagnosed with PMR since Jan '22 and now at 32 mg. Pred after that GCA scare in Jan. 2 3. I am 73, but the bruising has just begun. Nasty ones and I don't remember bumping the areas where they are (like the joint of my big toe at the side), so it doesn't take much. Presuming thinning

Intravenous Iron, oxidative stress and vitamin E and selenium
I have been reading about the possibility that some people may experience oxidative stress with intravenous iron therapy. I thought this article was interesting as it states that vitamin E and selenium are powerful antioxidants that can somewhat mitigate this problem. I would not suggest synthetic

Reliable Genuine Source T3 Please
I'm gearing up for my obligatory annual NHS thyroid blood test in early December, however I did a MMH test in early October. My results then were TSH 0.01 FT4 21.4 (12-22) FT3 5.2 (3.1-6.8) This was on 200mcgs of Levo, I'm prescribed 150mcgs but had plenty spare to play around with. I have never
