Menopause and panic attacks

I just wanted to share my story in case it’s helpful to anyone. I am 51 years old and I have PCOS . I also have a mast cell disorder. I have good mental health. I have managed to have 3 children and after the birth of each children I had quite extreme panic attacks which went away after about 6 weeks. No-one ever knew what they were. As I have come into peri- menopause, they started to happen again. After huge amounts of research, I discovered they were due to low progesterone (please reference Prof Jerilynn Prior medical papers). I now take 400mg of uteogestan per day and the panic attacks have completely disappeared. I just want to share in case any other woman experiences the same thing as the GP wasn’t any help to me.
