Ndt prescription?Prevent metabolic syndrome? Izabella wentz? diet?
I read that metabolic syndrome is associated with autoimmune diseases (so also hashimoto), so I decided to prevent it (I found a book on the spot, let's hope it's good). Has anyone else successfully followed izabella wentz's advice? I really liked her advice and put it into practice right away

Latest reults
hi I’ve just had my latest thyroid panel results, numbers seem slightly better for antibodies but still higher than they should. Ft4 & Ft3 slightly higher than last time but still not optimal? B12 and vit D is a work in progress. Ferritin is edging out of optimal towards high end, not sure what this

Anxiety about all the immune based meds
HiIt looks like when I do an embryo transfer I will be on quite a large cocktail of medication. Recommendations for me are IVIG, steroids, clexane, asprin and intramuscular progesterone. I had an array of tests done which showed high NK cells and cytokines and an issue with the blood hence this medley

new blood test results - should I increase? NDT
hello all, I am on NDT and got my new blood results. They are as followed: TSH: 0.13 (0.27-4.20) Ft3: 3.10 (2.00-4.40) Ft4: 0.96 (0.93-1.70) Test was done 9 am. Last dose NDT was 24h before (1.75 grain - taken all in one). Do you think I should increase my dose of NDT? Or should I stay on

Estradiol levels high? and progesterone help!
Good morning! I'm 47, and have been on HRT for about 2 years. I have evorel 50 and 2 weeks of micronised progesterone every 12 weeks. I also have under active thyroid disease and have to have vitamin b12 injections, so some symptoms can get confused! HRT has managed hot flushes and other peri-specific

At Rock bottom
So.. I’ve reached 50, I started Peri menopause a few years ago now. The beginning of last year I was really struggling to remember things, my mental health was awful, my periods all over the place but when they came I was literally flooding and some days unable to leave the house as it was so bad. Progesterone amount after fresh transfer
Hi all, I'm taking 1200mg cyclogest. This was increased as I bled before OTD on a previous cycle. I've taken lubion as well before, but not in this cycle. I had my progesterone tested on day 3 after egg collection as I was worried I might be taking too much or too little and wanted to adjust it after

When did you stop progesterone?
Evening All, Would you be happy to share at what point you stopped progesterone and whether you stopped suddenly, or gradually reduced the dose? I think around 12 weeks seems to be standard, but I know some people are on for 16 weeks and some even longer. I’m in a sort of strange predicament as my

Hypothyroidism and levothyroxine treatment only inadequate?
I had a bad experience on levothyroxine only. I am now on T3 but not optimal yet although much better than I was on the levo.I had to go to hospital appointment regarding my dupuytrens contracture, and the doctor, who was going through my medications list, asked why I wasn't on levothyroxine. I told

Hashimoto
Being diagnosed as a six year old with Hashimoto, which had already destroyed my thyroid I was always wondering what other treatment options are out there. Over the last some years I found out a lot about related illness that I have like high cholesterol, teeth problems, on and off iron deficiency etc

ERFA Source
Hi. I remember from a long time ago, there is one stockist abroad that will sell ERFA without needing a prescription. I would be really grateful if anyone can tell me who it is by PM, thanks. I am desperate to try it as Thyroid S is no longer working for me. My health authority will not prescribe any

Anyone else feel the same?
Each time I have to go through the process of buying NDT I go through a series of emotions.1. Angry that in this day and age I have to buy meds from Thailand 2. That the NHS won't let us have the meds we need 3. The cost if these meds, how will I afford once I've retired 4. The fact the cost is highly

Reassurance about taking T3 during pregnancy
Hi All I’m just looking for some reassurance if anyone else has continued on T3 during pregnancy. When I tested positive my ft4 was 17.5 (12-22) but my ft3 tanked from 4.4 to 3.1(3.1-6.8) and all my hypo symptoms were terrible. (Previous ft4 was17.1 and ft3 4.4 so I was still probably under medicated
