BC pharmacare not paying for romosozumab
I am from BC Canada. My GP gave me a prescription for romosozumab/Evenity. I have 6 fractures of the spine the last few months and treating lymphoma also. I've been told by pharmacy that I would have to pay full price $666 per month till my $2,000 deductible is filled and then pharma care does not

Diagnosed under 55
I’m looking specifically for men and partners of men who were diagnosed with de novo stage four prostate cancer at their initial diagnosis. The treatments are different and unfortunately so it the overall outlook. The younger men are diagnosed with PCa, the more aggressive the cancer tends to be.

Hi, to any one with Osteoporosis whose been advised to take the Evenity (romosozumab) injections for a year , go for it. I have just had my Dexa scan results after taking the monthly injections. I am no longer in the Osteoporosis category. I'm now Osteopenic. My spine has gone from - 3.8 to 2.2, hip

Very Exciting News!
I was diagnosed with osteoporosis one year ago: lumbar spine -4.6, hip -3.3, -3 5 respectively. Today--at my request--I had a follow-up. I have basically been pharmaceutical drug-free, though, I did take about 9 doses of Fosamax at two different times, the last being in September. For reference, google

I'm a 72 year old female with Addison Disease. I have osteoporosis and going next week for 1st evenity shot. Any suggestions to do to get ready for the shots? Did drinking water and taking Tylenol before shots help? Thanks, very nervous about staring these .

I have Addison disease and had to take steroids for this. I have developed osteoporosis and my doctor want me to start the evenity shots. I am very concerned about the safety of this drug.

Near Collapsing Spine
Hello, I'm new this site. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I fractured 4 vertebrae in 2021. A Rheumetologist prescribed Evenity for 1 year. It worked well with bone density increasing in all areas. Since Evenity can only be taken for 1 year he prescribed Prolia. After a Dexa Scan a few weeks

Itching with blood thinners (Apixaban and Edoxapan)
Had to change from Apixaban to Edoxapan due to severe reaction of itching all over the body, it was really bad. The Edoxapan is much better, but still get the occasional real itches on back and legs . but they gave me E45 anti itch cream that REALLY works well and often stops after a few minutes after

evenity vs prolia+forteo
speak freely. my Mum's been given these choices, i would love it if she could come off prolia, but evenity sounds too high-powered. prolia has 60mg/6months of ingredient, and evenity has 210mg/1month of whatever it is, is that right? i don't even know if i want to know. had a T11 compression, had

After Evenity..what’s next ?
Has anyone heard of good options after the 12 months of Evenity are over? It has to be a med that will maintain the new bones….anyone at the stage of this second follow up?

Evenity
Hi, I started Evenity in June and I find myself having tight leg muscles making it harder to walk and move…my endocrinologist said “it’s possible”when I asked if my injections are causing it. She added that my spine needs this to avoid another fracture…but if it gets worse I could stop adding 6 months

Evenity side effects
I would like to hear from people that have been on this drug. Do you have to take it at the exact same time every month? What happens if you’re traveling. Also, what are the side effects? One thing I read that made me very nervous. Was the black box. Warning of heart, attack or stroke. And the side

Dermatitis
The other day there was a post about dermatitis. A number of people wrote about E45 cream. Well, of course, Amazon sells it and I ordered a tube. I have to say that it is far better than any cream my dermatologist prescribed. Thank you, thank you. I learn so much on a daily basis from this forum 😍
