Frustrated - please help me with my battle plan :)
In the United States... So, last year my daughter was diagnosed hypothyroid. In studying up on that, I suspected I was too - brain fog, fatigue, low basal temp, high bp, insomnia, mild depression among other things. In Nov. I got doc to order labs. He wanted to take a wait and see based on numbers

Hashimoto problems - please can anyone help? Sorry for the long post.
Here goes..... I am 32 years old and have hashi's, diagnosed Feb 2018. At the time I was diagnosed I had been feeling poorly for years and had numerous doctors appointments and tests. My symptoms were not all 'typical' hashimoto symptoms. They were - anxiety, racing heart (especially at night), dry/stinging

Reflexology, what are your thoughts?
Hi everyone. I tried Accupuncture in our first fresh cycle, unfortunately we weren’t successful and we’re due to go again next month for an FET. I have had a lot of recommendations to look into reflexology since and decided that I was going to give it a go! I’ll try anything at this point. I have

Break from Selenium?
I'm sure I have read somewhere that you should not keep taking Selenium, but should take a break occasionally. Does anyone here know if this is correct? If so, when should you take the break. I am taking 100mcg a day and have taken it for about 3 months so far. Thanks for any assistance.

Feel ignored by GP
I was diagnosed with under active thyroid in 2014 after they thought my low blood pressure and heart rate was angina - suffered two years on beta blockers which made me even more tired. Started on 25mg in 2014 of levothyroxine and now on 75mg which was in Nov 2016. Have felt awful for the past few months

Graves disease and supplements for menopause symptoms
I was wondering if anyone could recommend supplements for alleviating hot flashes. I am on carbimazole 40 mg (I've just relapsed after an 8 year remission period) I am now 47 and have peri menopause symptoms (mainly hot flushes at night and sleep affected by them). I'd like to try natural supplements

Help with New blood results. Started with functional Doc and want to know your thoughts. Thanks
I am Male. I started going to a functional Doctor as I have gotten tired of dealing with GP's that will not look at anything else but TSH and getting nowhere with them. The blood results are all requested by my functional Doc. With the results she has put me on LDN 1.5mg. Switched from Synthroid

Little bit of hope for hair loss sufferers
Hi all, I know everyone is different but after following this group for 2 years and having some helpful advice I wanted to post an update which may help others. I have been suffering with hair loss for 21 months and lost allot of hair ( over 200 a day). I have had all the blood work under the sun

Antioxidant supplement ivf
Hi all, just wondering if anyone took an antioxidant supplement during ivf. I’m taking a prenatal vitamin (which has the recommended folic acid and vitamin d advised by my clinic) but this has also been suggested by a friend. From what I can tell antioxidant supplements have the same level of selenium

Help with supplements/dosing please?
Hello (I am currently on 25mcg a day of levo. I definitely feel underactive, having particular problems with inflamed gums that I have posted separately about. I also have Grave's disease (in remission)). Had blood test in December to check my vitamin levels, would welcome thoughts on changes to supplementation
