Endo said to stop Levo to see how much it is helping
Went to see an endo on Tuesday, have high prolactin levels, no energy, lactating, headaches. Taking 50mcg of Levo daily. He said wants to see if it is making any difference to how I feel as he thinks I don't need it. I feel terrible at the moment going to work and then literally have no energy, panicking

When to take supplements
Evening everyone, just a quick question as I'm getting all confused... I take my thyroid meds at night with water away from food & drink. It's the day time supps which are confusing me 🙄 Morning 2hrs after breakfast = iron/vit c 2hrs after = selenium 2hrs after = vit b12/b complex 2hrs after vit D/

hashimotos, hairloss, etc. help
Hi...this is my first time on a blog. Have gotten much help from the stopthethyroidmadness book and website. I have some questions and wondering if I am on the right track and how to proceed. I was diagnosed with Hashimotos about 2 1/2 years ago, probably had it before that. I have been on Naturethroid

Private doc visit went well
yesterday I travelled to the Biolab medical centre in London and saw Dr.B W and I have to say that having someone sit there and listen to my story over the years and agree with my feelings was a huge relief. I explained how I feel from waking up in the morning and the daily challenge we all face and

When to take Levo, T3, vitamins and minerals?
Hi all Can anyone help me with a timetable to take all of the above. I've tried but mess up the timings because I forget or get up late. What I usually do is have Levo before bed, breakfast with the vitamins and selenium. Iron X 1 210mg tablet with vitamin c 2 hours later. Lunch 2 hours after iron tablet

Brazil Nuts
Does anybody know if eating Brazil nuts can make you hyper. I have been having about 6 or 7 a day because of the selenium and this morning have woken up feeling definitely dodgy. Twitchy and a little breathless. As I already supplement with T3 I wonder if I have now got a little too much. Will

Confusing labwork. Central hypo?
Good morning, I am a 26 year old female, 5 feet and 160 lbs. I also have a congenital heart disease with severe mitral regurgitation. I've been overweight for most of my life- but have recently put on 20 lbs in 10 months. I've always eaten mindfully, avoiding sugar. I also have some of the classic hypo

How long do I keep supplementing?
I posted this a few days ago and would really appreciate some advice. I'm finally feeling really well, thanks largely to the forum and wonder how long I should continue supplementing. I have been reading Dr Brewers book 'The Essential Guide to Vitamins, Minerals and Supplements' and it looks like I'd

Vitamin D deficiency
Hi all! Full blood tests at end of post but starting with my questions! I am hypothyroid taking 100mcg of levothyroxine. Tests for Vitamins and minerals
Does anybody know if a home finger prick tests exist in UK to monitor areas such as the Bs. E, folate. Ferritin, selenium, magnesium etc. They do ones separately from what I can find on internet but not a comprehensive one for all of them together. Gets a bit expensive otherwise.
