2ND LAB REPORT AFTER 5 MONTHS GLUTEN FREE, SO DISAPPOINTED
I don't understand although I know I feel worse than usual, peroxidase antibodies increased since December but thyroglobulin antibodies slightly down. At least my ferritin is up a tiny bit as is folate but I just don't get why results are worse. Maybe I should stop the selenium. Not sure what > means

Filling in the gaps...
Hi there, I have been trying to read and re-read books on how to get on top of my Hashimoto's. I've met with Dr P and I've looked on this site every day since I've been diagnosed, trying to understand what's going on. But, I still have gaps in my understanding and perhaps I lack patience in trying to

Dark circles - graves disease - low ferritin
Hi, I am a graves disease sufferer (15 years, diagnosed at age 21, male). I can keep my levels in range with armour thyroid and PTU and 200mcg selenium. But one problem I have always had are very dark circles under eyes. I don't mean a shadow - I mean pigmented skin. I was looking back at my blood

Trying NDT for the first time - are you supposed to feel hypo?
Three days in: I've been on 1 and a half grains of Armour. Am splitting the dose: 1 grain in the morning, half a grain after 1pm. (switching from T4/T3 synthetic combo - 75mcg levo, 10mcg t3) The first day I felt good, more 'natural' if that makes sense. But today and yesterday I've been foggy, very

Persuaded doc to do the following in January: B12 401 (190 - 660) Folate 4.1 (3.9 - 26.8) Ferritin is 32.5 (24 - 400). I've been taking the following since

Desperate for help! Any ideas? Constant brain for 3.5 years, tingling feet + hands, and lots more symptoms
Hi all, mid-20s male looking to see if anyone has had a similar story here or any ideas. It’s been 3.5 years since I got very ill and no doctors seem to have an answer. January 2014 – woke up feeling slightly ‘off’ on an otherwise normal day, put it down to tiredness and went about my day. Next day,

Very strange!
Since my post from 18 days ago something strange is happening! The lowest my body temperature has been is 36.7 and that was first thing in the morning..(it had been 35.5 frequently) but it's almost always 37! I haven't been constipated and I've lost a couple of lbs in weight! Just got blood tests back

Selenium
Hi everyone, I'm just wondering as to whether Selenium blood tests are routinely carried out if you've been diagnosed with a thyroid problem? Is this something that doctors/Endo's look into? Has anyone ever had their levels tested/measured? (And by that I mean either via their GP/nhs specialist as opposed

Please help me understand these results.
I can see I'm deficient in vitamin d. I'm currently on Levo 100/125 alternate days. I take b12, zinc, magesium, d3, foli acid, selenium and a probiotic day. How do i improve my vit d? Do you think I'd benefit from adding some t3? Do the rest of the results look ok? Thank-you 😊
