Success Thyroid Story
Hi! I promised myself that I would come back and write here if I managed to "naturally" put my thyroid levels and my Hashimoto’s back in their place, in case it could help someone else fix theirs. My TSH levels are now perfect and my Hashimoto's is pretty much in remission as my antibodies are pretty

TBG, Reverse T3 & SHBG Issues - What Does This Mean?
Greetings and happy July all. I have Hashi's confirmed by ultrasound and blood antibodies. I am not being treated as my family doctor and encrinologist say my blood work does not justify it. I have every symptom of hypo, I mean every symptom, and I also believe I have fatigued adrenals big time. But,

Latest labs look good?
Here's the deal. I've felt terrible since June 2017 when I was diagnosed with postpartum thyroiditis. I likely had Hashimotos for many years prior but wasn't ever diagnosed. At the time of dx, my TSH was over 100 and free levels were tanked. Symptoms flooded in over the following months including crushing

Any ideas as to the best multivitamin to take for Hashimoto's please?
Hi I am considering adding a multivit daily. And there are so many multivits available! What are the ingredients that hypothyroid people should avoid please? For example, I understand that selenium and iodine are 2 that are contraindicated Any others? iron? Can you recommend a multivit that you take

This is my latest labs while taking 88 mcg T4 for 2 months, taken while fasting, and no T4 the day of labs. I forgot to ask for TPO and TG to be tested again, on my last lab it was indicated that I have Hashimoto’s, and on my last labs posted on here I was told that I needed to find a new Dr, the one

Newly on levothyroxine. How long until I start to feel better?
Hi lovely knowledgeable people. I JUST got diagnosed with hypothyroidism after experiencing some health difficulties and odd symptoms that seemed unrelated, for the past year. I have a 2 year old, and the doc says that it could be lingering from my pregnancy, as my last thyroid function test was 2 years

Hi all. I have Psoriatic Arthritis along with Hashi/Hypothyroidism. My Rheumatologist has just put me on Methotrexate (with Folic Acid on non-Meth days). Anyone else on the same? What should I expect. Any supplements I need to be wary of? I'm taking D3 (3000iu), B complex, Magnesium Glycinate, Selenium

Goat milk is considered one of the healthiest foods. It contains vitamins B1, B2, B6 and B12 that are important for the strengthening of the nervous system, and abounds in minerals (calcium, phosphorus, zinc, selenium) that play an important role for bone strength and maintenance of immunity. Help with Blood test results and how to increase ferritin levels
Hi can I get help with my latest blood tests? I am currently taking 2 grain TR Man (previously 125mg levothyroxine). I don't feel too bad, however, ferritin low again, I have taken GP prescribed iron before but I can't seem to raise the level. Any suggestions on how to increase this number welcome

Helping conversion
Hi all, my doctor recommended seaweed extract to help conversion of T4 to T3, would this help? I take selenium but my T3 could be a bit higher. Tried to get an increase in Levo but doctor said no as my TSH is suppressed 0.04. Is there anything else to try and help?

Amino acids and creatine
Yes I take creatine (5g day) and several amino acids (all 21 if possible). All of the above are very good for optimum muscle performance, especially recovery. Some amino acids are needed for cellular functions and brain health. No doctor will tell you this. You have to find out yourself. Lots of good
