Following on from my last blood results in November 2018 and the gp requesting that these be repeated due to the results, he states, being odd.
Currently taking T4 125mg and T3 50m this was the amount I was taking when my last bloods were taken (see previous post) I am hoping to up the T4 and bring the T3 down a tad but was awaiting these results before doing that. It has been suggested I may not convert well so have taken advice from GG and others on here and take thyroid meds with a strong Vit C. Since first joining I have supplemented vits:D, C, B12, iron, magnesium, selenium etc All of the ones suggested and that can affect absorption. My last post explains why I feel I have to give T4 another chance.
Attached are my latest results but unfortunately it doesn’t include the T3 which GP said they would. So now I only have a T4 result and TSH . I haven’t spoken to the GP but once I do I will come clean about using T3 and request he test that. Never ending!

You need to get full Thyroid (and ideally vitamin) testing privately if you can't get FT3 tested
Recommended on here that all thyroid blood tests should ideally be done as early as possible in morning and fasting. This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip, best not mentioned to GP or phlebotomist)
Last Levothyroxine dose should be 24 hours prior to test, (taking delayed dose immediately after blood draw).
If/when also on T3, make sure to take last dose 8-12 hours prior to test, even if this means adjusting time or splitting of dose day before test
Is this how you do your tests?
Private tests are available. Thousands on here forced to do this as NHS often refuses to test FT3 or antibodies or all vitamins
Medichecks Thyroid plus ultra vitamin or Blue Horizon Thyroid plus eleven are the most popular choice. DIY finger prick test or option to pay extra for private blood draw. Both companies often have special offers, Medichecks usually have offers on Thursdays, Blue Horizon its more random
