Levo and afternoon blood test
Could anybody advise please, I generally do blood test first thing on a morning, then take Levo straight after. Owing to the current situation (Covid) I have done well to even get a blood test through GP, however I can only get a 2pm appointment! My question is, do I still leave off Levo meds until

T4 dose too high?
Hello everyone, I just got the results of my recent blood test back after doing gluten-free strictly for 8 weeks and taking the thyroxine an hour before food or drink. My T3 is the highest it's ever been. I also got my iron and vit D up (from last test) and had started recently supplementing selenium

Hashimotos 13 year old
Hi there, I was wondering if you could help? My 13 year old daughter has Coeliac Disease and Hashimotos (I have Type 1 diabetes). She is really struggling with brain fog, dizziness and tiredness. I have just had a full thyroid panel done and it looks to me as though her T3 is too low and her T4 is too

Sleep disturbance
I have been having disturbed sleep. I have noticed that, on the two occasions this month when I have been away, it was better. When away, I didn’t take my supplements with me on both occasions. However, I did take my T4 and T3 with me obviously, as I wouldn’t miss those. I take zinc, selenium and floradix

Hashimotos and Trying to Conceive
I was diagnosed with hashimotos a few years ago and have been trying to get my thyroid levels adequate for pregnancy. I’m otherwise a healthy 30 yo female who only got my thyroid checked due to my mothers thyroid cancer. Really no symptoms other than feeling cold (like most women). My TSH was 3 when

Test reaults
Hi All, Hope you are all keeping safe and well 🙂. I posted about 3 months ago after I’d had my first Ultravit blood test with Medichecks. I took a lot of info on board and started supplements to try and balance things out and get my levels a lot healthier. I’ve attached a photo of all my results so

T3 / weight gain
Hi everyone I currently take T3 75mcg in one single dose. I have under active thyroid / hashimotos. My biggest symptom is weight gain. I have put quite a bit of weight on this last year which has caused me to become type 2 diabetic again. I have had some bloods taken & got the results. Please note

"All is normal", so they say in the medical profession....
Hi everyone on this site, I'd like to introduce myself and ask for your opinion. I'v had Type1 Diabetes over 40 years now and Graves diagnosis in 2006 (in remission after 18 months treatment with Carbimazole), so I was told that I must have predisposition to other autoimmune conditions and I should look

selenium- where do we stand?
So I’m curious if anyone has had any success with selenium? I met with my EP cardiologist on Thursday and I have also had numerous conversations with my Endo and we are trying to figure out my next steps. My body doesn’t appear to like Levothyroxine. The hormone aggravates my arrhythmia, I’ve had runs

New blood test results - do I need to start T3?
Hello, Since my last post in early June, I have continued on 100mcg levo, and have just got new test results with Medichecks. In June, (also on 100mcg levo), my TSH was 1. 48, T4 21 (12-22) and T3 4.21 (3.1-6.8) My new results show a TSH of 0.41, T4 24 (12-22), and T3 4.53 (3.1-6.8). So, T4 has gone
