Please can I have advice on the results below members of Thyroid UK
I posted my last set of blood results and received great feedback that I could follow & try to put in place with GP. The attached shoes to me no range, says normal but my B12 was way low. I am on 125m of Levo and now supplement with B12 & B complex & selenium. Thank you in advance. Harthill 42

Blood results back- would really appreciate your advice, please.
Hi. I’m on 125mcg of T4 and these are yesterday’s Medichecks results. I’d be so grateful for your thoughts. Apologies for the long post- I was hoping these results would give me a definitive answer as to whether I need to try T3 but I’m still confused! *TSH 0.006 (0.27-4.20) *Free thyroxine 24 (12.00

getting myself in a tizz
I saw an endo specialist privately end of Feb. He said over 50% chance I have it. But, couldn't feel any nodules on physical examination. My CA 125 came back fine. Since then I have been supplementing with magnesium, selenium and zinc. I also tried pre-loading my painkillers a few days before for this

Does FT3 normally vary much from day to day? My latest results from Blue Horizon show I'm deficient, and I know my GP won't want to give me any more levo because of the low TSH. BH results from last week:- TSH mU/L 0.05(0.27 - 4.20) Free T4 pmol/L 13.50(12.00 - 22.00) Free T3 pmol/L 2.53(3.10

Holland & Barrett mega vitamin time release
If any of you knowledgeable people have the time, could you please look through this list of what’s in H&B mega vits and tell me if there’s anything I shouldn’t be taking. I’m hypothyroid with antibodies and on levothyroxine. I take one of these vits everyday at lunchtime and take my Levo at approx

2nd blood results after starting Levo 50mcg, advice on what is happening before seeing my GP.
Morning, Can anyone give me advice on my March 18 and April 18 results to see what is happening before I see my GP on Monday. As many of you are aware from my previous posts, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's by a private Endo, a scan also confirmed this. Anyway, to cut a very long story short and

Had Radioiodine in January. What now?
I have had Graves for about seven years. Initially prescribed Carbimazole which worked well for a period then relapsed and back on to the meds. Last year, following another relapse which was so much worse than before, I took the decision to have radioiodine therapy and this happened in January. My first

Boron
From MNP-Net. Need to eat avocados, nuts and raisins plus usual healthy diet of veg and fruit. A handful of nuts per day also adds selenium and magnesium, both mentioned on this Board as beneficial minerals: This article explains many benefits of Boron including it’s antioxidant, anti-inflammatory properties

Selenium methionine and Total Thyroidectomy
I've received SO much help from you all over the past couple of years! I had a total thyroidectomy 30 years ago. Didn't really have problems on t4 only until about 4 years ago, when it was discovered I have hemocromitosis and began regularly having phlebotomies which depleted the iron overload but left

Supplements and blood test levels along with over 50 and iron question
I’ve searched the forum, but haven’t been able to find much regarding over age 50 and iron. I would appreciate any input. I’m 55 years old and have Hashimoto’s and hypothyroidism. I have supplemented with iron and a high level multivitamin with iron for years. I have just now dropped the iron supplement
