Are these tremors or seizures?
My friends who have witnessed this say I have bounced up and down in my chair and they thought I was having a
seizure
. I feel totally out of control during this period, although I am conscious. I'm just waiting for it to be over, and for the pain in my face to stop.

Hello
In 2014 I had two seizures, one May and one in August, was seen by a neurologist who told me not to worry and suggested that I stopped taking Lamotrigine at a very low dose as it would not be effective. this year I had a
seizure
on 13 January, one on 13 February, sat around until 13 March, nothing happened

BUSS PASS QUANDRY
Fair enough apart from my licenses were revoked over 18 months ago and as
seizure
have continued not re-applied so as not to waste their time or my postage and my consultants and doctors know that the seizures are unremitting and that I'm aware I shouldn't drive so they never refer to it specifically

At 8 months he had a
seizure
that was ruled as a febrile
seizure
. This Wednesday he had another
seizure
and doctors said it was also febrile related. I was confused because he had the
seizure
right after crying because I took a toy away and he got really upset.

It's been a while!
I haven't had a
seizure
in about 7 months which is great. Still, I'm just very very tired. I hope you're all getting on well!

Where can I get help?
He had another
seizure
and again another one this morning (13 Mar). I’m extremely worried about his condition at the moment because he has become very forgetful, clumsy and his school performance is below the standard according to the teachers.

It started as possible a side effect of my
seizure
medicine so I stopped taking that but the symptoms haven't gone away. Anyone ideas? Am I am Ataxia fraud or is it really all there. Lots of other minor symptoms like body jerks when trying to relax?

Seizure alarms
Have any of you ever used a
seizure
alarm? If so, what were/are your experiences with it? Did you fund it yourself or did you get it from a charity? We welcome all your comments, positive and negative!

Changing medication
My daughter, who is in her 20s, has been advised to change from Lamotrigine to Kepra as she requires such a high dose of the Lamotrigine to keep her
seizure
free. Can anyone who has done this tell us their story and whether the Kepra works as well and of any additional side effects?

My experience of Ramsay Hunt Syndrome & Postherpetic Neuralgia...
The cocktail of strong medication eventually resulted in hallucination, aggressive muscle spasms and a severe
seizure
. I ended up being admitted to hospital because of the
seizure

Questions about cognitive changes and exhaustion
It reminds me of what I've seen happen to people with epilepsy after they have a
seizure
(the post-ichtal phase - I don't know how to spell that anymore). (3) Is this typical of PD? Extreme fatigue. I can't ever tell what the day will be like.

Help?
I have aura most days, but I have never had a big
seizure
that is often associated with epilepsy, but I am now wondering if this is a possibility for me?

I can't sleep properly since her first
seizure
, ant noise from her room and I'm awake. Does anyone else have children in a similar position?

Hi, in September 1999 I suffered a gran mal
seizure
, had my heart stopped after 2.5 hour fit. It took around 4 minutes to start me up again, and when I was brought back round 2 days later. I was placed on Tegretol Retard/carbamazepine? these tablets are anti depressant.

My son is 1 and I want another! False movements?
I also had pre eclampsia quite badly with my son and ended up having multiple seizures during and after having him, which is why we moved into my mothers other house as my partner is away offshore a lot and I was told to be very careful incase of having a
seizure
alone.

New to hypothyroidism
I was having seizures or blackouts after I come around I'm soaked with sweat and vomit, during the
seizure
I'm in pain everything's black and I feel like I'm dieing it's the single most terrifying thing to ever happen to me. Since being on the meds it's stopped completely.
