Problem with noise
It's so bad I sleep on the floor now in my living g room and haven't slept in my bed since my last
seizure
in June. Is this a brain injury or am I losing the plot? I am hunting for a new flat continually... This can't go on. Does anyone else have problems with noise since their TBI?

New and a bit confused about diagnosis!
I've been told by the neurologist I have Absence seizures, Atonic Seizures, Myoclonic seizures and Tonic Clonic seizures which can sometimes be after a simple partial
seizure
as an aura but not always. I've been given very little information and told to "google" so I went on NHS etc.

Do you automatically get tested for APS if you have a clot ?
I have had SLE for 14 years , I had a dvt in my brain 3 months after a brain tumour op , had a massive
seizure
which I think was a mini stroke then was told I had the clot and was put on warfarin which was stopped after 18 months even though the clot was still there and always will be .

I end up in hospital and take some time returning to 'normal '.

Worried mommy
Neither my gynecologist or neurologist wants to believe me but I worry that I might have developed eclampsia or pre-eclampsia because I've never had hypertension and before this week, I was
seizure
free for almost 10 months which is wonderful. I would usually get at least 1
seizure
per month.

Involuntary muscle twitches ?
Either way, I don't like it and it sets off a series of negative thoughts which make me think I'm gonna have a
seizure
or something wrong with my brain. I know I'm probably over thinking this but if anyone has ever had this same issue let me know ! #anxiety

Problems with my head
Hi everyone I know I have not posted in awhile, but I'm having problems with migraine headaches that they think were triggered by a really really low blood sugar that caused either a tia or a
seizure
? Anybody got any ideas of how to get rid of it and yes I am in the hospital.

Embrace watch
It's still at the clinical trial stage, so not an approved medical device yet, but the idea is that hopefully it will pick up electrical signals in the skin before a
seizure
starts and if that fails it picks up the jerking movements associated with a
seizure
.

Epilepsy starting to worsen.
At the moment my eye is all gashed open after the last
seizure
on Saturday. I'm waiting for an appointment with a neurologist to try to get sorted. My GP thinks my medication of 16 years needs to be changed. I am currently taking 1000mg of Epilim and 50mg of Lamotrigine twice a day.

Just in need of moral support
I had eclampsia with my son and had a
seizure
during labour. I then had another
seizure
7 weeks later and was put into Epilim. I was then changed from that due to side effects to Keppra.

Got diagnosed with EDS but my current neurologist doesn't believe it- anyone else with an abnormal EEG and cognitive impairment?
Thing is I've never had a
seizure
. Yes, I've had weird moments that I can't really explain where I just don't really understand whats going on and I can't understand anything. I get this horrible weird sensation that goes through my forehead.
