Derealisation 3 years strong.. no end in sight
Its given me health anxiety, I fear I'm going to have a
seizure
or faint all the time. I never have but I'm sure I will. I'm also pretty sure that every day is the last day of my life. This is a nightmare.

Dealing with uncertainty
I find it really difficult to deal with the uncertainty of not knowing when I am going to have a fit or
seizure
as many call it.I never ever get any warning signs and that scares me when I think about it as I could and do fall down anywhere at any time.So it means I cant go anywhere without being accompanied

Triggers and recognising them.
I just wish I knew what as its worrying not knowing when its going to happen. The biggest problem I have is i rarely remember anything previous to my
seizure
or indeed anything about my stay in hospital after them.In fact only last year i had to stay in hospital for 8 days as i had a cluster of seisures

Thanks to your helpful advice I saw my GP who has said she believes I am showing
seizure
activity, caused by an atypical migraine or epilepsy. She was leaning towards epilepsy. Just to rule out other things I am having a CT scan before I see a neuro in May.

Good afternoon all, My wife was diagnosed with epilepsy after a tonic clonic
seizure
that came out of nowhere. Nearly two years on and She is still struggling to come to terms with her diagnosis and although she knows her condition does not define her, it is affecting her work and her life.

ICH and the NHS
In Oct 14 I had a
seizure
in my sleep, so, off to A&E blue lights flashing, I went. I felt very unwell and was in and out of consciousness but when hubby asked about a scan he was told it was too big a radiation risk.

Pacemakers?
The last
seizure
was in hospital under monitoring and she had a 32 second asystole (heart not beating). It has been suggested that she needs a pacemaker. Has anyone had experience with this?

Uncontrollable body movements with hullucinations.
It is a bit like someone having a
seizure
. She has been prescribed lorazepam half a tablet which does calm her down. I just wondered if is the psp progressing or maybe a side effect of the drugs she is taking which is Citalopram, co - beneldopa, Amantadine.

Are these tremors or seizures?
My friends who have witnessed this say I have bounced up and down in my chair and they thought I was having a
seizure
. I feel totally out of control during this period, although I am conscious. I'm just waiting for it to be over, and for the pain in my face to stop.

Hello
In 2014 I had two seizures, one May and one in August, was seen by a neurologist who told me not to worry and suggested that I stopped taking Lamotrigine at a very low dose as it would not be effective. this year I had a
seizure
on 13 January, one on 13 February, sat around until 13 March, nothing happened

BUSS PASS QUANDRY
Fair enough apart from my licenses were revoked over 18 months ago and as
seizure
have continued not re-applied so as not to waste their time or my postage and my consultants and doctors know that the seizures are unremitting and that I'm aware I shouldn't drive so they never refer to it specifically

Concerned Mom
At 8 months he had a
seizure
that was ruled as a febrile
seizure
. This Wednesday he had another
seizure
and doctors said it was also febrile related. I was confused because he had the
seizure
right after crying because I took a toy away and he got really upset.

It's been a while!
I haven't had a
seizure
in about 7 months which is great. Still, I'm just very very tired. I hope you're all getting on well!

Where can I get help?
He had another
seizure
and again another one this morning (13 Mar). I’m extremely worried about his condition at the moment because he has become very forgetful, clumsy and his school performance is below the standard according to the teachers.

It started as possible a side effect of my
seizure
medicine so I stopped taking that but the symptoms haven't gone away. Anyone ideas? Am I am Ataxia fraud or is it really all there. Lots of other minor symptoms like body jerks when trying to relax?

Seizure alarms
Have any of you ever used a
seizure
alarm? If so, what were/are your experiences with it? Did you fund it yourself or did you get it from a charity? We welcome all your comments, positive and negative!

Changing medication
My daughter, who is in her 20s, has been advised to change from Lamotrigine to Kepra as she requires such a high dose of the Lamotrigine to keep her
seizure
free. Can anyone who has done this tell us their story and whether the Kepra works as well and of any additional side effects?

My experience of Ramsay Hunt Syndrome & Postherpetic Neuralgia...
The cocktail of strong medication eventually resulted in hallucination, aggressive muscle spasms and a severe
seizure
. I ended up being admitted to hospital because of the
seizure
