I'm scared and I need some reassurance that I'm not going to have a seizure.
, because it seems like what the beginning of a
seizure
would feel like?

Campaign launched for home access to behavioural therapy for epileptic seizures
These triggers also affect the body’s electrodermal activity, making it a good measure of the risk of a
seizure
. Studies have shown that biofeedback can be an effective way of learning to control epileptic seizures.

Writing intervention study for epilepsy
Researchers in Sheffield are currently exploring whether or not a writing intervention can help to improve
seizure
control and quality of life for people with epilepsy and/or non-epileptic attack disorder. This is a home-based study and the team is actively looking for people to take part.

HYPO - In trying to control this syndrome all of us should be aware of the likely role that Caffeine plays in Glucose/Insulin balance:
GW 09/12/2015 Addendum - I should have said that I have never again experienced loss of consciousness with concomitant
seizure
; but I do still get milder hypo's if I exercise too soon after eating - the two hour period seems to be critical. GW

My boys journey ...update
Id never seen a
seizure
before so it was really scary seeing my boy have one. He had 3 in 3 hours so the doctors said it was best to get him checked out back at the QE.

My 4 year old has an 8mm cavernoma on his right frontal lobe
We believe he had a slight
seizure
of slurred speech but now I'm rethinking other symptoms he might have had that I shrugged off. Balanced problems, numb cheeks? It's all hard to know since he most likely couldn't communicate it to me. I've never been so terrified and I'm not sure what to do.

Weird panic attack when trying to fall asleep?
It felt like what I imagine a
seizure
would feel like? I woke up shaking like crazy and totally disoriented. I didn't recognize where I was or what was going on. my tongue also felt weird.

Complex Partial Seizures
Why they are so worrying is that I don't remember anything during the
seizure
. I could be sitting or walking positions. The walking ones are obviously the dangerous ones. I have walked across roads during the
seizure
. Age I am in my sixties. Is there anyone out there that has something like this.

At The Doctor (The Screenplay)
I am still having the occasional minor
seizure
that throw me off kilter and render me exhausted for the remainder of the day. Doctor: I see. I note you are taking medication to combat your epilepsy. Epilepsy is a common… oh, bugger. That’s my script ruined.

The Journey of 17 + years with FND
After two years and numerous Dr.s that did much more harm than good, I finally had a breakthrough from my internist who started me on Tegretol an anti-
seizure
drug. The lights flickered, as each dose increased I became stronger.
