Another Seizure
I had another
seizure
on Tuesday whilst on holiday up in Scotland, during my lunch in a cafe. Since then I’ve been sick three times, had heavy fatigue and had no appetite only one sandwich and two eggs on a piece of toast.

Anti-seizure medication
My doctor as prescribed an anti-
seizure
medication, so far I have managed to stay off meds, but my symptoms are now too severe to ignore. I just wondered if anyone else as tried an anti
seizure
?

When they say anti seizure medication 'prevent seizures from happening' what EXACTLY does that mean?
The word
seizure
is used to describe such a broad spectrum of things it's difficult to know. The majority of my seizures are focal BUT I have had 3 tonic clonics which finally lead to my diagnosis.

our 7 year old has possible epilepsy-the process of diagnosis is proving to be lengthy but that’s looking like the most likely outcome. The paediatrician has recommended we have a camera or alarm of some type for potential night seizures so that she can go back to her own bedroom. Has anyone found

What happens to your thyroid levels
If someone is having a
seizure
and they take bloods for thyroid levels would your labs show a low level of thyroid hormones or would it show a higher level of hormones? I thought I read that if it you fall ill like have a
seizure
that your levels will drop to protect you??? Is this correct?

Notifying DVLA & Returning to Driving & treatment.
She’s never had a
seizure
before and does not suffer from epilepsy. What can one expect to happen. Constructive advice would be greatly accepted. Following her collapse, she was taken to A&E via ambulance .

Seizures
Dropped to 250 mg twice a day and had my seventh
seizure
. Told in México had Focal Tonic Clonic
Seizure
but in Canada I was told it wasn’t a typical
seizure
due to unremarkable bloodwork. I am being treated like I have vasculitis and am on high doses of prednisone. Could that alter bloodwork?

Breakthrough Seizure After 10yrs - Shocked and Uncertain - What do I do?
I'm thinking of not taking it - I'm thinking of trying it and seeing how I go - I'm thinking this was just a breakthrough
seizure
and it won't happen again? My question: What do I do? Is the likelihood it was a breakthrough
seizure
higher than the likelihood of a return of epilepsy?
