Is non-alcoholic beer safe
hi, My son is 18 and has had epilepsy for 7 years, He was
seizure
free for a few years but the last year we have had a few. He likes to go out with friends and be the same as everyone else but drinking alcohol triggers a

the next day.

Is the weather pressure linked to seizures ?
I have had epilepsy and fnd for a number of years, almost this year
seizure
free. When out of the blue I had 2
seizure
at work. The change of air pressure causes me headaches but can this cause seizures. I have had 9 seizures when flying from America to the UK. I don't know if this is a trigger?

Shaky hands side effects of Vimpat [Lacosamide] or Briviact [Brivaracetam] have been taking them since April 2018?
I have JME epilepsy since 1970, 400+ seizures, was told in July 2021 "next
seizure
probably be your last"! Aged 67, retired living on my own, has anybody using either or both these medications had similar effects?

Has anyone ever experienced a focal

on the face only? This last few months I have been experiencing brief episodes of pins and needles /tingling around my left eye area, left temple. Sometimes it spreads down my cheek slightly.

Could Epilim and lacosamide/VIMPAT have something in common [type of medication?] that causes 'shakes',need to get some research done on it?
I have been on Vimpat/lacosamide and briviact since April 2018 [in Jan 2018 I had a double
seizure
, which caused irreparable brain damage, diagnosed TERMINAL in July 2021 "the next

Mini Stroke Post Heart Attack
All inconclusive to what had happened but appeared to be a
seizure
of some sort. Back to hospital today seeing a neurologist and stroke specialist who confirmed it wasn’t a
seizure
, but a transient ischemic attack (TIA or “mini-stroke”) . Bit of a shock but apparently at risk post HA.

I had my first
seizure
4 years ago. I thought maybe it was a one off but 18 months later it happened again. Since then I’ve had another 4 seizures. In those 4 years I had all the scans and they showed nothing.

A Search for Underlying Causes
Has had 6 tonic-clonics over 7mos period Treatment: Keppra 3500mg/day Present Day: Went 2.5 mos without a

I had a my first tonic clonic
seizure
June 23. I'd been having focal seizures for 10 years but didn't know what they were, so never saw the doctor. I've had CT scan, MRI and all normal. Had an ECT and that showed abnormal electrical activity in my brain which shocked me.
