Scared that I have epilepsy
I've never had a
seizure
. No one in my family has had epilepsy and I haven't had any head injuries or cancers. I just get really scared that I have it. My eyes aren't that great and I have glasses. But can someone just give me a little peace of mind of what could be happening?

Taking control back didn't last long ðŸ˜

Gamma knife surgery for av malformation
I was diagnosed with an avm of the brain in may 2016 after a facial droop and a
seizure
. Since then I had gamma knife stereotactical radio surgery at Sheffield in Nov 2016. I take levitericitam and nortryptaline. Thankfully my seizures are under control.

Sitting in my bed!
I have a neuroma on my right hand side of my lower spine, this was partially removed 20 years ago when my scoliosis started, and due an epileptic
seizure
it has started again, twisting, I think it has got to the point because the right hand side of the chest is reducing it affects capability of the lungs

Undiagnosed yet
I haven't had a
seizure
during a day test but as I seem to have it happen during my sleep a lot and not in public, my neurologist asked if I'd be willing to have a few day test. An epilepsy specialist saw me and recommended this test. Waiting is hard. This evening I had a lot of myoclonic jerks.

Going from day to day feeling ...
But recently it's been "everything's going wrong" I'm tired of being tired I'm tired of worrying about all the mental health problems I have I'm tired of worrying on a daily basis "am I gonna make it without having a
seizure
or an anxiety attack?"

to DMV, they use to but no longer?

B12 injections and anti seizure drugs (epileptic) drugs.
I just heard B 12 injections contraindicate with AEDs I do a lot of research but didn't know this one ! There's a risk of becoming Anaemic so get your iron levels tested if you're on B12 and need to take Anti convulsants as well.

Suffered a Sagittal sinus thrombosis (blood clot on the brain) 10 years ago which caused multiple issues (
seizure

I can't drive because I've got
seizure
/memory issues along with the crazy cognitive changes. I'm not ok to work. I have an appointment with neurology soon regarding the suspected seizures.

No where to go
Her
seizure
type has changed to very frequent absence seizures and some focal seizures. She is now on eplim and lamtrogeine . I am pretty sure that there is more to it than just a simple epilepsy diagnosis but the consultant seems although helpful underwhelmed by our plight.

Your advice please......
They advised noted that the
seizure
was, therefore, a complication of your Mum's underlying condition (Hyperthyroidism) rather than a side effect of the withdrawal of the medication itself"
