Rehab help please
Previously had one
seizure
in hospital when dry and now too scared to stop drinking on my own as it isn't fair on my family if I seize again. I think I probably need a residential rehab as the hospitals can't cope with anything non-critical right now.

Do people take anti-seizure medication for FND seizures?
I am curious if people take anti-
seizure
meds for their FND seizures since they aren’t often classified as epilepsy. I was diagnosed with a temporal lobe epilepsy with partial focal seizures just over three years ago.

How do you stop tremors in my hands, every time I get pressurised under stress etc, my hands shake especially my fingers, I cannot type?
I had a double
seizure
in January 2018 fractured skull while transferring one medication to my present [April 2018]. Is there any way of 'calming' my system down? A reaction to AZ vaccine in 2021 did not help, I was even tested for Parkinson's disease, [negative] my hand were so bad?

Driving with Focal aware seizures
Or will they count it as seizures nonetheless and expect me not to drive until I am free from any
seizure
(including aware).

The “
seizure
” like activity is the worst where I don’t fall or convulse like a
seizure
but I feel my brain turned up to the max inside my head I could scream and pull my hair out. (I’m not epileptic). Does anyone have similar issues?

I HAVE HUNG UP MY RUNNING SHOES
Unfortunately the first drug was deemed to be the cause of a tonic
seizure
that I suffered in the summer of 2021 and had to be stopped, even though it was keeping my PSA numbers down. The second drug never really seemed to have much effect and was stopped in February 2022.

Side Effects from Pfizer Jab?
At 11pm he suffered a
seizure
( never had one before) and was taken to emergency. Multitude tests later he was released from ICU and sent home. Two days later back in hospital with severe chest pains, also complaining of ‘feeling so sick’.

Loss of usage of legs and being able to sit up.
Don’t know if it was a type of
seizure
or something else. It took almost 4 hrs for me to be able to have the usage of my legs again. Has anyone else had this happen to them? Last night I really needed a wheelchair to get around in while I didn’t have the use of my legs.

PSP seizures?
Mum goes into a kind of
seizure
, like she is in a deep sleep but totally unresponsive and when she starts to come round she is still not “with us” for a while, fixed eyes, no communication. I’m wondering what we should expect next, will these seizures get longer?

Pfizer side affects
My daughter aged 19 had her 2nd Pfizer/flu jab together and 3 days later, had increased
seizure
activity and has become very aggressive and this has carried on throughout. My daughter has severe epilepsy, severe autism and severe learning difficulties.

Possible Eplilepsy
My daughter (22) had a night
seizure
a few weeks ago (first time) that her friend saw - she didn't recall it until her friend described it. Following that she has recalled having night episodes that sound like potential night seizures over the last few years that doctors put down to anxiety.

Medication - how does it make you feel?
This can sometimes mean a
seizure
is approaching but at other times it will pass after a further hour or so when he becomes more himself and improves further over the course of the day. He is unable to tell us how the meds make him feel so we have to watch for visual clues.

First seizure
Hi everyone , I’m 38 and had my first ever tonic clonic
seizure
🥲 a couple of weeks ago, it was such a shock to me and unexpected, ended up in hospital for a couple of days and am currently waiting to see a consultant, I haven’t had a diagnosis as yet.

Increasing lamotrigine dose
On this he has a
seizure
maybe once every 3-4 months but they are not always full blown. I keep a diary and have looked for triggers but cannot really find anything concrete, except maybe emotional stress. Sorry for being long winded!

Confused and Frustrated
(Not Covid related) He collapsed at work, went into a
seizure
which lasted over an hour. Whilst in the
seizure
he was sick and inhaled the vomit into his lungs which has caused an awful lot of damage.
