Can strobe lights irritate your eyes or gives you a headache afterwards?
I'm afraid that it might trigger a
seizure
cause I heard that it can do that. But I did felt anxious, it passed. I'm trying not to worry. Has anyone experience this? And thanks for answering my post before. I'm going to try and quit caffeine or any sweet drink. Lol. :) Deanna💜

FND Conversion Disorder is still FND
I was also assaulted by a paramedic on duty when I took a
seizure
which affected my legs, paralysing them. I was an inpatient at a hospital for my own safety and when being returned to the unit from A&E I took the
seizure
. The paramedic demanded that I walk to the ambulance and get myself into it.

I stayed up till 5 am every night and afraid that it might trigger or bring on a
seizure
😔 is there any chances of getting one?

Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy
I'm Lisa from Greece, 31 years old and 4 years ago I was diagnosed with Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy, after suffering my first (and only) grand mal
seizure
. Since then I only have myoclonic jerks (they only appear after I wake up, lets say approx once a month).

Flashing lights and night time panic attacks?
I always have a
seizure
in the night or early in the morning, before I have a
seizure
I see flashing lights does anyone know what this is? My doctor said it's migraine? So is my seizures caused by miagrains?

Vegetarian weight loss
My problem is I'm still gaining weight, I had major heart surgery last year and have ongoing mobility issues, I'm also on a variety of drugs including one for epilepsy although have only had the one major
seizure
. Currently I'm unable to swim but I'm hoping this will change shortly.

Another seizure
My Mum just had another
seizure
, first one was in February. They didn't start her on medication then in case was a one off. I've rung out of hours doctors who want her to go to hospital, she has already stated in an advanced care plan she doesn't want to go hospital and has A DNR.

I have an autistic daughter, who also has a
seizure
disorder, and he is her physician too. He is great, actually acknowledges she exists, when she has an appointment, and much patientce. Takes his time to ensure he has evaluated her well.

New here I am almost 6 weeks postpartum and had a very bad experience after delivery had a
seizure
and developed postpartum pre eclampsia. Also developed tachycardia. Now every little pain or ache that I have I think I'm going to die.

Still scared of Seizure
I have been doing so good with dealing with my fears of having a
seizure
, but lately i have been failing: When i was younger i had my eyes roll back in my head because of a fever, my grandmother never said that it was a
seizure
though, but in my own way i keep thinking it was.

I have feelings like EEGs were faked, that the single
seizure
video I saw was even faked.

This helped my morning anxiety
It's typically an anti-
seizure
med, or for neuropathy pain. But somehow it calms the chain of command in my brain that leads to AM anxiety. So check it out. Also, I HIGHLY recommend going to a psychiatric nurse practitioner whenever possible.

Never Been Diagnosed And Never Been Treated At 56 And Illiterate. Where To Turn?
I have never had a
seizure
. Then my folks seperated and I came to Calif to live with my older brother. He never knew I didn't go to school. I did get a job at a hospital. I was always finding jobs to do.

Scared of a seizure
I'm now slowly coming off of it, but I'm so scared that I'm going to have a
seizure
. It's so scary because I'm alone with my 2 year old for most of the day. What if something happens?... there will be no one there to help me? Ugh, I'll be glad when this stuff is out of my system.

Time for a big ol’ update me thinks!
Seizure
-like symptoms: This kind of ties in with lightheadedness as the two seem to interact with eachother. Also forgove the misleading heading, I’ve never had a
seizure
, but this is jist what I’ve always imagined they (or the time leading up to one) feel like.
