Pfizer side affects
My daughter aged 19 had her 2nd Pfizer/flu jab together and 3 days later, had increased
seizure
activity and has become very aggressive and this has carried on throughout. My daughter has severe epilepsy, severe autism and severe learning difficulties.

Possible Eplilepsy
My daughter (22) had a night
seizure
a few weeks ago (first time) that her friend saw - she didn't recall it until her friend described it. Following that she has recalled having night episodes that sound like potential night seizures over the last few years that doctors put down to anxiety.

First seizure
Hi everyone , I’m 38 and had my first ever tonic clonic
seizure
🥲 a couple of weeks ago, it was such a shock to me and unexpected, ended up in hospital for a couple of days and am currently waiting to see a consultant, I haven’t had a diagnosis as yet.

Medication - how does it make you feel?
This can sometimes mean a
seizure
is approaching but at other times it will pass after a further hour or so when he becomes more himself and improves further over the course of the day. He is unable to tell us how the meds make him feel so we have to watch for visual clues.

I HAVE HUNG UP MY RUNNING SHOES
Unfortunately the first drug was deemed to be the cause of a tonic
seizure
that I suffered in the summer of 2021 and had to be stopped, even though it was keeping my PSA numbers down. The second drug never really seemed to have much effect and was stopped in February 2022.

Increasing lamotrigine dose
On this he has a
seizure
maybe once every 3-4 months but they are not always full blown. I keep a diary and have looked for triggers but cannot really find anything concrete, except maybe emotional stress. Sorry for being long winded!

Confused and Frustrated
(Not Covid related) He collapsed at work, went into a
seizure
which lasted over an hour. Whilst in the
seizure
he was sick and inhaled the vomit into his lungs which has caused an awful lot of damage.

Pure stress and tension! Epilepsy seems to thrive on it!
Brain thrives on it "You are going to have a
seizure
!" My rib cage, every rib has been broken or fractured!" Till July this year, "your next
seizure
will probably be you last" a double
seizure
in January 2018, broken skull!

Seizure Activity Setback
I soon recognised it as
seizure
activity which I’ve had in the past and am on medication for it. As a result after a little research I think I’m now having mild focal seizures. These have been happening on and off for a couple of days now which is very upsetting.

I was on Epilim and Lamictal for my Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy, bad shaking hands, was it Parkinson's disease, found reaction to Epilim!
couple of weeks I wanted to take up drawing classes, artistic family, hands really steady I was 61 years old then, BUT really dangerous other side effects meant I had to get off Fycompa, causing smashed body breakages, violent seizures via combination of medications as I changed them, I have had one

Only happening 3/4 days before my period
Doctor calls it a
seizure
. I only have one 3/4 days before my period and most of the time it’s at work. I space out, walk around, do the most random stuff that you could think off. But because I work in a supermarket it’s starting to get embarrassing now.

Seizure Types
Hey All, I was diagnosed with epilepsy September 2018, Controlled with Keppra & Lamogratrine, had my driving licence back for year (That’s the background story) this last month I’ve been having what I thought were panic attacks. I get this sudden fear and what feels like a rush of blood from my feet

Losing my determination
Sadly I first spent some days in a ward following what turned out to be a
seizure
. I then changed to my current private consultant.

Medical Mystery, Hormones, ADHD meds?
We have only deduced certain things from the equation like epileptic
seizure
activity, cardio dysrhythmia, aneurysm, rheumatic issue, covid. The top contenders are ms, lyme, narcolepsy or stress/ anxiety pseudoseizures. I am in workup still.

Hello all- new to the forum!
I had a
seizure
in the car so was very lucky to survive that with no injuries, nothing like this has ever happened before I was discharged from hospital 18th October with no further symptoms but frustratingly there is only a working diagnosis of HSV encephalitis as the initial lumbar puncture/PCR test

Epilepsy - Getting it under Control?
Lots of focal (front lobe) seizures while in hospital but
seizure
-free at discharge a month later. However seizures came back 2 months later. For over a year we have dealt with initially very frequent seizures. It’s now down to 1-2 every ca. 2 weeks.

CD doesn't define me anymore. I hope this is encouraging.
CD appeared as episodes of
seizure
-like convulsions and dissociation. It was absolutely terrifying. Full disclosure is that CD started immediately at the height of orgasm in the beginning.

I have J M E since the age of 14 I am 65, and have had over 400 + seizures, since 2013 I have seen "epilepsy specialists" four times!
Since my last face to face consultation in April 2018 I have had one
seizure
in December 2019, now on borrowed time. Not very impressed with Epilepsy care in this part of UK?
