Scar tissue issues?
Morning all. A silly question but I have quite a lot of abdominal scar tissue following a difficult total abdominal hysterectomy four years ago. Due to have my gallbladder out in four weeks so am wondering if that will affect my chances of having the op key hole? This is such a minor problem compared

Dermatology Appointment Update
Hello everyone I had my long-awaited Dermatology Appointment yesterday which had to be the shortest consultation I've ever had!. It was good news that I don't have skin cancer but I was given a diagnosis of Bowens Disease which is a pre-cursor to it. The lesion I have is coming off in November, not sure

Morning after pill
I had my little girl in January, to complete our family, my husband had a vasectomy in may, he was told he has to take a sample to be tested to make sure it worked but not until the middle of September, we always use a condom and will continue to do so until the sample has been taken and the test shows

Spinal canal
Results from MRI scan show I have narrowing of the spinal canal in my lower back, now I'm waiting to see a neurologist at the spinal unit. My GP has discussed treatment and she was against having a operation as it will leave scar tissue but I'm really unsure. So any of you good people who have had any

Chronic Respiratory Acidosis – What Stage is too much?
Hello, I was diagnosed yesterday with respiratory acidosis. I suspect I have had this for a very long time, having attempted repeatedly to find answers about why I was feeling unwell for the past year. For the past year, I've suffered numerous bouts of staring into space, freezing mentally with a burning

Scarring alopecia DLE
I would like to know if anyone out there with DLE scarring alopecia has been prescribed anything other than Dermovate and hydroxychloroquin. I have been on both for over seven months now and hairloss no better, in fact now far worse. I don't see the dermatologist again until end Aug and wonder if I should

Lap- impact on fertility
Does a Laparoscopy impact your fertility? I hear that every time you have one it creates lots of scar tissue and can be bad for fertility. Given we are trying this worries me but the alternative pain is also a concern. feel like I am stuck between a rock and a hard place..

Scar tissue result from thyroidectomy 20 yrs ago
Its been 20 years since I had right thyroid lobe removed now having hard time swallowing and appears I have quite a build up of scar tissue that could be the cause, anyone had this experience and how can I get it corrected? Surgeon is no longer active.

Lung Denervation
Thank you all for your good wishes. Anybody who is interested in this procedure should ask their Dr to refer them to The Royal Brompton Hospital -Clinical Trials Dept for COPD. There are many trials going on, I was not suitable for lung reduction as my emphasemia was too evenly spread, but once you
