Failed medical abortion 😔
It's been a roller coaster of emotions, due to medical reasons I had decided on an abortion,I had a medical abortion done by bpas at 9+3 days had the pill then the tablets inserted in me as I really didn't want a surgical one,and it's not worked 7 days later no blood loss or anything just very bad sickness

Chronic Respiratory Acidosis – What Stage is too much?
Hello, I was diagnosed yesterday with respiratory acidosis. I suspect I have had this for a very long time, having attempted repeatedly to find answers about why I was feeling unwell for the past year. For the past year, I've suffered numerous bouts of staring into space, freezing mentally with a burning

Scarring alopecia DLE
I would like to know if anyone out there with DLE scarring alopecia has been prescribed anything other than Dermovate and hydroxychloroquin. I have been on both for over seven months now and hairloss no better, in fact now far worse. I don't see the dermatologist again until end Aug and wonder if I should

Lap- impact on fertility
Does a Laparoscopy impact your fertility? I hear that every time you have one it creates lots of scar tissue and can be bad for fertility. Given we are trying this worries me but the alternative pain is also a concern. feel like I am stuck between a rock and a hard place..

Scar tissue result from thyroidectomy 20 yrs ago
Its been 20 years since I had right thyroid lobe removed now having hard time swallowing and appears I have quite a build up of scar tissue that could be the cause, anyone had this experience and how can I get it corrected? Surgeon is no longer active.

Lung Denervation
Thank you all for your good wishes. Anybody who is interested in this procedure should ask their Dr to refer them to The Royal Brompton Hospital -Clinical Trials Dept for COPD. There are many trials going on, I was not suitable for lung reduction as my emphasemia was too evenly spread, but once you

Sore hysterectomy scar
I had a hysterectomy 10 weeks ago and my first chemo session one week ago. Today I noticed that the scar felt a bit sore and when I felt it, there was a hardened area under the sore area. It does not look inflamed and I am sure there is no infection. Has anyone else experienced anything like this after

It didn't feel like I was falling or anything like that but it has woke me up and now I'm terrified to try and go back to sleep. It felt like

Waiting for 2nd Lap
Hiya everyone, haven't posted on here before but feel like I need some support. I've had endometriosis since I was about 17, had my first laparoscopy in 2013 when I was 20. My symptoms began again about 6-7 months ago & have been referred back to a consultant, had a scan and an endometrioma was found

What does Pleural Scarring/Thickening mean?
I have anxiety & I've went to the ER many times over the past 10 years due to palpitations or anxiety related breathing issues, no telling how many Chest X-rays I've had but in 2012 one showed pleural thickening at the lung apices, my GP said it was capping "age related" or old scar tissue from past

Wound
Has anyone had their clips removed and had an area of wound come apart. This happened to me today and I'm now on daily doc visits. I'm disappointed that scar healing will delay chemo and I might end up with a less neat scar. What if it doesnt heal? Generally just worried because brain over analyses

Not AMD at all but scarring from looking at the sun???
I am a bit confused. I was diagnosed with AMD, age 55. Since then the ophthalmologist has been doing annual retinal scans and telling me it all looks stable. That was in Germany. Now seven years later I have returned to the UK and finally got a hospital appointment for them to continue the monitoring

Wound advice
After having a laparoscopy on thursday my partner was rushed in on Friday for emergency surgery. With everything that's be going on, I only last night studied my discharge papers from the hospital. I find they have put down a totally different procedure to what I had done, no wonder that I can't find

Schema therapy failed me
Hi, I'm a 40 year old BPD sufferer, just coming to the end of a disastrous two years of an NHS Schema therapy trial. If I didn't trust people before, I certainly don't trust people now. I feel very let down by the therapists I was assigned, one in particular has been extremely unprofessional throughout
