Risperidone with DR/Anxiety

Started risperidone today twice a day for anxiety and DR, had first dose this morning but fell asleep bout an hour after, was just doing some looking online after taking my second doSE and someone was saying this caused seizures, confusion etc and now I'm panicking and want it out my system

If the medication is making you feel weird do not take it anymore. Drink lots of water and try and flush it out of your system. All medication does it mask the symptoms your experiencing and then you have to deal with withdrawals after getting off of it. I used to think I really needed it but it just made me worse. You can overcome the anxiety and symptoms by taking the time to understand it and start accepting how you feel and let yourself feel the way you do, it will help a lot! God bless x
