Hi everyone hope your all well. I got my breathing results today could anyone please help me under stand them. FEV 1 second percentage change 164 liters FEV 1 vital capacity 55% forced expired volume in 1 sec. 2.97 liters This is what the nurse give me and she also said lung age 80 and im 50.

This calculator helps you to work out results but you need fvc as well. Below the links shows how copd is graded.

I am almost 73, my lung age is 114 but it has been for years, so i ould not worry too much about that. Take care Margaret x

Hi Mary Did you get a complete copy of the print out? If so post up the Fev1 (litres); the FVC (litres) & fef 25-75(l/s); your age & height.

Have you had a CT scan?

Hi soulsaver,this is the only copy the nurse give me. Yes i have had 2 or 3 ct scans,but i think they where fine. There was somthing about a noldul,not sure how to spell it. Thanks fot getting back to me. Sorry dont know how to send photo.
