Pregnancy
I also have
rituximab
every 7 months. I'd love to have a baby but my doctor told me my function could go down alot. Anyone had a healthy pregnancy without losing too much of their kidney function?

We also know that some intensive chemoimmunotherapies increase the risk of specific malignancies, such as secondary acute myeloid leukemia after an FCR [fludarabine, cyclophosphamide, and
rituximab
(Rituxan)] treatment, so we have a particular focus of looking at secondary malignancies.

I have had ITP for 5 months and no medications have helped....Prednisone, Dexamethasone (very temporary) Revolade and Rituximab. IVIG ???
Has anyone here been having IVIG infusions on a regular basis (perhaps every three weeks) rather than having a splenectomy?

Delay in Rituximab
Hi my OH was due his second RTX as part of his 2 year schedule. He has developed a throat infection and after contacting the hospital his RTX for tomorrow is delayed. He is well in himself, no temperature and appetite ok. Just more tired than usual. Will this delay cause any problems? He had his last

Just when you thought CLL was enough to deal with! advice on BTK inhibitors and Heart Attack Meds interactions?
Since my last post, informing that I had come out of a 4 year remission, after FCR, I have been monitored for my ALC and lymph node enlargement. After 6 months my ALC had reached 24 and some spleen and node enlargement . My Haematology team suggested I would not need treatment this year. However,

Be good to hear feedback on any complications with having ulcer colitis and getting venetoclax medication. My doctor did say that one patient of hers had FCR treatment and it

Weight
I’m 5-6 stone overweight 😳 and I’ve just started on
rituximab
(had second dose of first cycle 5 weeks ago) and I’m also on 5-10 mg prednisolone daily.
Rituximab
has not yet kicked in.

Most Inflammatory Disease Patients on Immunosuppressants Mount a Response to the COVID-19 Vaccine (But Can Vary a Lot by Medication)
B-cell depleting therapies (such as
rituximab
) Medications such as
rituximab
work by depleting B cells, which are an important part of how your immune system responds to vaccines.

BUPA's get-out clause for cancer
Has anyone had any experience with Bupa cancer cover in the UK? Bupa Cancer promise is that it is not limited by time or costs. However, after one year on Ibrutinib, they have decided to increase my premium by 50%. And it gets worse, each year I am likely to face 50% increases because I lose my no-claims

Coronavirus vaccine effective on autoimmune disease patients, study finds
The lack of response appeared to be associated with patients undergoing a specific treatment using a specific drug,
Rituximab
. The problem did not seem to emerge with other common drugs and treatments.

Negative IgG antibodies from 1st shot of Pfizer’s Covid Vaccine
I read that
Rituximab
(anti CD20 monoclonal) can take 6-12 months for your immune system to recover after your final infusion and her last infusion of
Rituximab
was Oct 1, 2020 so she was just shy of 6 months when she got her first Pfizer shot.
