Egfr results

I had an appt with my renal consultant on the 26th April which was canx & re-scheduled for 10th May. I went onto patient view & checked my bloods etc from previous week. I am not sure if I am worrying unnecessarily but my creatine was 125 & egfr was 38. I checked back on previous results & my 1st appt in Oct was 106 & 47. I have had two rituximab infusions & due another one in May. My consultant has said I am currently in clinical remission. I had Rheumotology appt yesterday & my blood pressure was take 175/95 which also concerned me as it it’s normally around 135/85. Is this all normal or should I be concerned with these results. Your comments will be much appreciated as being fairly new to all this I am not sure what is good & what is bad. Thank you.

I cannot tell you if you are worrying unnecessarily or not but if I was as concerned as you are I would phone the specialist nurses and see what they say. Your blood pressure would have been checked over and over again when you had your infusions so that may just have been a blip but hopefully someone can put your mind at rest or your blood pressure will go up higher! If you cannot get hold of your specialist nurse maybe your consultants secretary or GP.

Thank you. I have been doing my BP at home for the last two days. I am going to monitor it until my next appt as my readings have been fine. If it does rise like that again I will definately contact my Consultant earlier.
