My kidneys are at 39%, I have high blood pressure and high cholesterol. I'm on meds for these. I also have rituximab every 7 months. I'd love to have a baby but my doctor told me my function could go down alot. Anyone had a healthy pregnancy without losing too much of their kidney function?

Hi Mimi12, I hope you are finding some people who've had healthy pregnancy while having CKD. I do know a woman who was diagnosed with PKD and later on 2 successful pregnancies but I don't know where her kidney function at the time. In the meantime here's an NKF site with pregnancy info. kidney.org/atoz/content/pre.... Best wishes.
