Rituximab infusion - side effects?!
Hi everyone, I am awaiting a
rituximab
infusion and i was just wondering how anyone whos had it reacted? How did you feel the next couple of days after? I am a medical student with exams coming up so I just want to pre-empt how much time I am going to need to rest! Do you need time off after it?

Denied Covid-19 Vaccination
~ Hubby explained he has
Rituximab
for RA. The 2 false nail clad, false eyelash wearing, heavily made up, very young HCAs looked at each other & said, “What’s that?”

Antineutrophilic cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA) Vasculitis
Treatment for vasculitis includes using steroids along with other medication the suppress the immune system, such as cyclophosphamide or
rituximab
. I am not coughing up blood like one of the symptoms. But I cough a lot, very thick clear mucus.

Rituximab
Have been told though that a blood test has flagged up positive for the virus that causes glandular fever and they want me to have
rituximab
IV treatment in outpatients at Bham. Has anybody else had similar treatment or presence of this virus?

Private Doctors for Rituximab
He has been advised by a private consultant to have a course of
Rituximab
(not withstanding that this is usually used to treat Non-Hodgkins).

My CLL Specialist seemed concerned. I need help understanding test results.
I was treated for AIHA in January 2022 with
rituximab
which got me back running. I have lost a lot of my fitness since then. My recent results (my interpretation) indicate disease progression. I could use some help figuring out what my test results mean.

My chemo experience
I started with fludarabine and
rituximab
which wasn't great. I had feelings of hot and cold, spots before my eyes, vertigo and blacking out. My haematologist was there in minutes, lowered my dose and I was able to complete the course over 6 hours without further adverse effects.

Covid 19 and Rituximab
I have had
Rituximab
at beginning of the year, the covid symptoms I have mostly are coughing up light green phlegm maybe once a day. I contacted my GP and others in the begining but not one reply from them which I find shocking. Anyway many thanks for reading about my situation. Take care SfS

An indicator in the blood could guide lupus treatment
A clinical trial (called “BEAT-Lupus”) has found that using a combination of two biologic treatments,
rituximab
and belimumab, may be more effective than using
rituximab
alone in patients who have not responded well to other treatment.

Change to Rituximab
I have now been offered
Rituximab
and, looking at all the side effects I've scared myself silly. I'm not needle phobic when it's the auto-inject pens but an infusion is something else. Please could you share your experiences of this drug positive or negative.

POST 5 - CAR-T cell therapy
Obviously the bridging treatment of five
Rituximab
infusions whilst continuing with Venetoclax had not cleared the bone marrow. The proposal is now to commence Acalabrutinib in the next few weeks to try and reduce the disease burden. IF it works I may still be able to join the Trial.

Advice please!
I am continuing with
Rituximab
for another 12 months (that was always the plan) I understand equilibrium for ANCA PR3 in 2-3 and above that positive. However she says you just might be somebody who has PR3 levels slightly above then norm. I am a bit confused. Help please.Nick.

What happens if I refuse a treatment?
Hi, I have seropositive Rheumatoid Arthritis and am currently on methotrexate and
Rituximab
infusions. I would like to know if anyone has ever refused treatment before and how that works.

Bronchocentric Glanulomatosis?
I'm just thinking that maybe the
rituximab
treatment might be the answer. I don't have faith in the medical support that she has been given so far and feel that she is being pushed from pillar to post. Any suggestions or information will be greatly appreciated.
