I have PMR and may have had Covid 19 recently.
I want to share this as it may alleviate some fears. Im not 100% sure but either I had the worse cold ever or Covid. I have been in isolation for the past 9 weeks, my husband is an essential worker and is out facing the public every day . I too was concerned that he would get it and pass it to me. Turns

New hope for COPD patients possible with in-home device.
This may lead to acute
respiratory
failure
and hospitalization. One treatment for chronic hypercapnia is noninvasive ventilation, or a machine with a mask that helps to improve breathing. https://newsnetwork.mayoclinic.org/discussion/new-hope-for-copd-patients-possible-with-in-home-device/

Cold from the North!!! - Week 7 completed
The strong wind/cold/rain in my face and a fall is NOT what I ordered for completion of my Week 7!!! Running for 25 min is hard without this kind of top-ups!!! Still, pleased with myself as managed to complete R3 even thought I thought about quitting some 5 times during the 25 minutes!!! Fortunatelly

To run or not to run during a cold?
I have been fighting a cold/sinus infection for about a week now. I have ran through the sniffles before no problem, but this is kicking my butt! I have no energy and I wear down quick. Today should be repeat of week 7 day 2, but I am thinking of seeing how the day goes, and if I still feel rough maybe

Cough remedies?
Hello, Ive been having minor asthma issues for a few weeks now (8 to be exact). These all settled eventually after being advised by a family member to try an antihistamine and I've been pretty good for around 3 weeks now. I've never been bothered by hay fever before however, this really seemed to help

Risk group for Covid?
Hi, everyone. Two years ago I had a very serious pneumonia. I had to be put in an induced coma for 8 days while I was on ECMO (extra corporal membrane oxigenation). Took me some months to recover completely and two years later I feel fine. However, I would like to know if I am a person of risk in this

GERD with a cough
Hi. Does anyone else experience a cough with GERD/acid reflux? If so, how do you soothe the cough? Thanks.

Surviving Covid19
I am new to this forum. I was diagnosed with CLL 12 years ago and was on watch and wait for 10 years. I started treatment because of large lymph nodes in my neck. I opted for the Flair trial I got the ibrutinib arm and have been doing well for 15 months. In mid February my husband and I both had a virus

Is everyone with CLL on the UK Government Vulnerable/Shielding List ?
I am 2 years into W&W and still have no symptoms. I was advised in January that it would probably be "many years" before treatment was necessary. The consultant only indicated that I should have my annual flu jab plus one for pneumonia but apart from that just advised me to carry on as normal and to

Hot and cold
I seem to get a cold arm or foot or face randomly even when I feel warm . Is this PMR symptom? I have problems with heat and cold but my husband often comments that I feel cold.

This Toilet Roll Stockpiling, What the Hell is that all about?
The Coronavirus will be treatable at some stage, but some people's stupidity is surely terminal. At 82 years old, male, chronic asthma, stage 4 COPD and stage 3 Heart Failure, I reckon I tick all of the boxes and I'm now shopping on line, but I see that is also becoming a victim of panicking people and
