Hot and cold

I seem to get a cold arm or foot or face randomly even when I feel warm . Is this PMR symptom? I have problems with heat and cold but my husband often comments that I feel cold.

I used to have areas of my lower back that got cold easily even though the rest of me was warm. And now I will wake in the early morning feeling really warm but if I shove the bedclothes down a bit all of a sudden the skin on my shoulders feels cold - but I don't. Bizarre!

Yes that's it exactly, circulation problems? I try to do some stretches when this happens but doesn't make any difference

Hello Blues1. I'm almost 2 years into my journey, and for the last year I have had icy cold knees. They feel cold, also to the touch. An odd thing, this PMR/GCA . Trevor.

When I was in full flare my hands were frozen, but my thighs/quads were inflamed and so hot I would warm my hands on them. I often had socks on for cold feet but a fan to cool my face. When my PMR quieter the differing hot and cold areas equalise.

Thank you you describe my symptoms perfectly . Hot and uncomfortable but cold parts. Changes day to day. I'm down to 6 mg pred a day and reluctant to go back up . Don't think I've got proper balance but at the moment am fairly inactive and stress triggers are less so riding it out. When in pain I take cocodamol usually manage on 1 in morning and 1 at night .

And would 1 or 2mg more pred mean you didn't need cocodamol? Because it isn't an innocent either.
