Is Parkinson's a disease of the substantia nigra or dysfunction of the hypothalamus?
Symptoms of autonomic
failure
can be cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, urogenital, thermoregulatory, pupillary,
respiratory
, sexual, or sleep related. I would argue that in neurodegenerative disorders, all of the above eventually occurs. Does anyone else suffer with kidney stones?

Thanks so much to all who replied to my plea for advice /opinions on whether to have flu and covid booster jabs at the same time. I am on my way to have the booster jab only and my flu jab will wait a while longer, I'm much less anxious now and no flare-up of afib. Thank you all! Tom

Booster and flu jab together
Slightly off topic, apologies, though I suffer from Pafib and don't want a flare up! I am due to have my booster on Saturday morning and know that they want to do the flu vaccination at the same time. To be honest I feel scared. I'm Eighty years old and not as confident as I used to be. Thanks in advance

Pneumonia
I was ill for 5 weeks, with a suspected chest infection and couldn't get time off work to go to gp. This turned into pneumonia, 2 courses of antibiotics, 2 courses of steroids and 2 weeks off work recovering. I went back to work on Tuesday but am still quite unwell. Im not relying on my reliever inhaler

Constant cold
I seem to have this cold that just won’t go away. I just start feeling a bit better then it flares up again. Had it around 6-weeks. I take methotrexate hydroxychloroquine Certrizine folic acid b12 tablets vitamin D tablets and esomeprazole. How can I get rid of this cold?

One year old with viral wheeze
Our daughter is 23 months and has been in and out of hospital with Bronchiolitis and viral wheeze since she was 11 months - usually she needs a couple of nights on oxygen before she’s sent home, we’ve been blue lighted in once. She was in with pneumonia in early September, and has been ill again twice

Off topic: it’s not the cough that carries you off…..
It’s the coffin they carry you off in! A song my dear old Mum sang when I was little and unwell. My cough has lasted four weeks and counting. After various blood tests it’s not covid but a nasty bacterial pneumonia caused because I have locked myself away so much…… Now on huge horse pill antibiotics

Repetitive pneumonia
Hello my Covid/ICU family (not the nicest family name to have eh?) So, I’m 10 months on from being admitted into ICU and for the 2nd time since my discharge and my original diagnosis of both covid and pneumonia, I have pneumonia again! As before, it progressed from a cold and cough to this! I’m on strong

14months old catching fever, cold and cough after nursery
Hi, my 14 month old has again fallen sick (just before a month) she had caught fever, and runny nose. Now again she has cold, cough and fever. She started her nursery from august 16th this year and everyone say this is common as kids fall sick quiet often as they start nursery. She is active and playful
