Constant cold

I seem to have this cold that just won’t go away. I just start feeling a bit better then it flares up again. Had it around 6-weeks. I take methotrexate hydroxychloroquine Certrizine folic acid b12 tablets vitamin D tablets and esomeprazole. How can I get rid of this cold?

Bless you darling it is no fun having a cold that won't go away. Have you spoken to your gp about this and have they had a look at you. It might be a good idea to get them to have a look at you. Hugs xxxxxxxxx

I agree with Sylvi, I would get an appointment with your GP. It could be a side affect too. Years ago I had what appeared to be a constant cold for a year and it turned out to be chronic allergic rhinitis.

It sounds as if it might be an allergic reaction rather than an infection. It might be worth keeping a record of what you are doing to establish whether it is something that triggers it off? For example I got very wheezy (I have asthma) cutting down some raspberry canes infested with black mould recently and had a runny nose and rather sore eyes for several days afterwards.
