could someone check my test results please to explain them to me?
Hi, I am a long time member but first time poster. I really enjoy reading all the post on this site and people are so genuinely helpful. I would love if someone could have a look and explain them to me. I am 64 and have pernicious anemia over 40 years. I am with a new surgery over 1.5 years and have

I HAVE HUNG UP MY RUNNING SHOES
It is two months since I last ran and although I have opted for the nuclear option of
Radium

treatment starting next week, which may reduce pain and spread temporarily, it is unlikely that I will run again, since the risk of vertebra/disc compression is too great.

Diazepam/Valium
I was subscribed Valium in the late 1970s & it worked in that it cured my social anxiety & I could live a normal life. I got married, had children & bought a house. Everything was fine apart from the fact I was addicted for over 40 years but as long as I had the tablets, I was happy & content. I managed

My life has gotten much more complicated since Abiraterone suddenly quit working about 6 months ago
I just had the 4th of 6 Xofigo (
Radium
-
223
) injections last Wednesday. I feel like the pain from bone metastases is improving. I have also undergone 15 External Beam Radiation Therapy EBRT treatments during the same period.

low sodium rate
another worry has set in today after getting my last blood results! My sodium level is still low (128). Only one digit higher than 3 months ago. My GP says he’s not unduly concerned at this moment, and will re-test again in 3 months. From what I’ve googled this low sodium can affect the kidneys and

valium 2mg for flying with IBS-D
I’ve been prescribed 2mg Valium (diazepam) to help me not lose the plot on upcoming flights, as my IBSD related anxiety has got so much worse since covid lockdowns etc. I’ve always had anxiety about having a flare up whilst travelling but it’s a real problem now. anyhow, 2mg seems a crazy low dose

Levothyroxine sodium loaded dissolving microneedle arrays for transdermal delivery
Have been waiting for this for, umm, years! Especially since many recent mentions of microneedle arrays for other medicines. And suddenly fell across it today. The idea that we just might have an option to avoid oral delivery of thyroid hormones is spectacularly great news. It might not be the best

History of Epileptic Seizure
I am 60 years old male from India. I had my first onset of seizure in my youth days ( 35 years ago). Though it was not clear from EEG but I was put on Dilantin 200 mg. It was controlled for 3 years and then started again from 1990. Eptoin was started in place of Dilantin for 250mg. But the episodes

Thybon Henning doesn’t contain acacia?!
Sharing for info but also a question around changes to formulation. I’ve recently had my T3 increased which meant moving to Thybon Henning 20s. Since I’m allergic to acacia, I set about trying to find out if it contained it. I spoke to 2 pharmacies (SmartWay and Roseseway Labs) as well as doing my

Got the Second Opinion
And I am SO glad I did! In a prior post, I had told about events leading up to a cardiologist getting snippy with me because I questioned the need for an ablation. The more research I did the more convinced I became that my gut feeling was right and I set up an appt. with a different doctor. Monday

Is there any point in this?
my wife is at a stage whereby she sort of burps as she swallow's.sounds a little like sort of reflux. Just to put you in the picture, she now has great difficulty speaking. It was suggested we see a consultant, this ended up as a phone call to arrange a barium X-ray. He wanted her to have an endoscope

Depressing example of medical intransigence

How did we arrive at Disease?
I’ve often wondered how I ended up with Parkinson’s. Well the advent of Cov-vid may have inadvertently shed a light on this question. I began reading anecdotal reports, and articles saying that some people getting the cov-vid shot were experiencing a metallic taste in their mouth immediately following
