For a long time, the medical world has ignored the potential effects of valproate on infant health after birth. Even though guidance commitees have cautioned against giving valproate to pregnant women. This scandal continues, and babies are still being born with serious problems. The response of the authorities is a pathetic statement of sympathy whilst showing no remorse, responsibility or accountability for the calamity. It does ask the question that, when the misjudgements for over 35 years of thyroid treatment are finally acknowledged, the medical world responsible will try to slide out of their inadequate reputations to justify their past practice. Admission of culpability is not to be expected.

Money gets dished out for research, the same topics, pretty much same outcomes and nothing happens.
No one seems capable of implementing what the research shows. Think I am jaded by the current political shenanigans!
