Treatment Decision
I have been treating my lymph node metastatic prostate cancer ( about 10 abdominal and pelvic nodes) with Lupron since November 2018. Previous imaging were performed with PSA around 0.1 and were clean. On June 1, I had Xray, CT scan, and bone scan one year into ADT break. CT scan found enlarged lymph

Number of radiation treatments for prostate cancer
I’m new here and recently diagnosed for prostate cancer. Focused on radiation therapy as likely treatment option. What are pros and cons of number of treatments when considering 5 treatments over two weeks versus 25 treatments over five weeks?

Questioning treatment plan for advanced prostate cancer?
Husband (age 59) newly diagnosed with Stage 4 PCa, Gleason 10, with mets to pelvic lymph nodes, and hilar lymph node, seminal vesicle invasion per PSMA pet scan. Diffuse, aggressive adenocarcinoma. Treatment is Lupron and radiation therapy anytime in the next 6 months. Apparently there’s no rush

Once Hopeful Prostate Cancer Drug Fails Phase II Test
Does anyone have a list of the drugs that were fast tracked for PCa? Might be a good place to look for trials. "RV001 is an immuno-oncologic drug that presents to the immune system as an antigen. It works by stimulating the T-cells to spot and destroy cells that carry the RhoC protein, which is over-expressed

Experiencing a rash while on Leuprorelin (Prostap, Lutrate) hormone therapy.
I am just finishing 37
radiotherapy
sessions and have been on hormone for 5 months. I had a couple of irritating spots under one of my arm pits for the past 2 months. In the past few days a rash has spread across my chest and neck and groin. Anyone else experience this during treatment? Thanks

Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) offered at the Oxford University Hospitals - Churchill Hospital
Good day to you all. I am a 58 year old soon to be 59 (in two months' time) and was diagnosed with a 3mm AN in 2013 and advised to watch and wait. Had vestibular rehabilitation therapy to help with vertigo, balance and dizziness in the initial stages and again in 2018/2019. Neuroma stopped growing in

How to determine what is a normal PSA after radiation therapy?
As I understand it, when PCa is treated with radiation therapy, the theory is cancer cells are more vulnerable to radiation because they divide more rapidly than normal cells, and they do not repair damage from radiation, while normal cells can. The situation seems to be complicated if the person has

newer radiotherapy?
I have locally advanced PCa ( prostate bed and adjacent lymph node). Cannot have salvage radiation (EBRT) as bowel is too close to prostate bed and I have a metal hip joint. is SABR still a possiblilty?

No
radiotherapy
as I was considered too ill at the time for it. When I’d recovered a bit, they put me on a full strength course of temozolomide for the next eight years.

However I was told that because I have lupus I will have a high risk of lung fibrosis if I have the
radiotherapy
and therefore the surgeon has recommended I don’t and I have a mastectomy instead.

I HAVE HUNG UP MY RUNNING SHOES
So hormone therapy, brachytherapy (look it up), external beam
radiotherapy
and a break from work all followed and apart from three weeks recovering from brachytherapy, I continued running which provided a period of calm in my disturbed world.
