I'm so very sorry Canabeans. I sincerely hope that they'll now do everything they can.Do you have loved ones around for your own support? Sending very best wishes for your husband - it's amazing what they can do nowadays. Thinking of you both 🙏
Thinking of you both. You are in our thoughts hearts and prayers .
Totally understand your frustration at being not kept an eye on.
Words are insufficient x
Dear Canabeans,
I really am at a loss at what to say. I have read posts and news articles about the state of affairs with regards to the health service in the U.K., I also have a friend who is end of life who has been totally abandoned by his GP. As an outsider looking in I really cannot understand what has happened. Maybe I don't know enough about how things run over there but it seems appallingly negligent to me. I wish I had something to say that could make things better for you and your husband. All I know is, for the most part, we live for today and we try to keep hope for tomorrow. Please do let us know how things go.
Cas xx 🍀
So sorry to read what has happened to your husband, Canabeans. No wonder you are both upset. Hoping that now the medics have found it, they can treat and resolve it.
So sorry to read about your husband Canabeans. I think its pretty dreadful that they have neglected to give him the care he deserves. I really hope this can be treated and he is now looked after. My thoughts and prayers are with you x
Hoping that your husband will respond to new treatment. 🤗
So sorry there have been such lacks in the care of your husband. I hope that the radiotherapy and steroids are effective in helping to treat the new condition xx
So sorry to hear this. I hope your husband's treatment will effect a speedy cure. Bless you both at this difficult time. xxx
I am so sorry to hear this and wanted to send you and your husband my best wishes and hope that the treatment will be beneficial to him. I trust you have family and friends who will help support you both. Take care xxx❤️
I guess these new growths are inoperable. I had a similar situation with my young brother 10 years ago he had just cleared five years clear of Colon cancer, he then had a heart operation, only to be floored by the brain metastis some months later. He too had radiotherapy, which effected his memory so badly, but hopefully the treatments will be more advanced now. All I can say is make sure you keep up with everything the docs are doing.
We went to see them yesterday they said he isn't strong enough for the radiotherapy yet and they said it can often make things worse for the patient, in other words it's all too late which shows he wasnt being monitored enough he was getting symptoms months ago yet no one has done any blood tests etc or scans until it's all too late xxx
