ADT medication types and timing before Radiotherapy
I wonder what the experience and clinical view is about when to start
radiotherapy
for advance but contained (as far as can be known by a PMSA scan).

Duration of ADT needed with salvage radiation
6 months? 24 months? New data from the "Formula 509" trial shows that hormone intensification with adjuvant apalutamide+abiraterone+ADT for just 6 months with salvage radiation therapy (SRT) may be all that's needed: https://www.prostatecancer.news/2023/02/duration-of-adt-needed-with-salvage.html

Choose Capivasertib or 177Lu-PSMA-617 clinical trial or stick with ADT + radiation?
Hi Folks, My PSA is up to 49 from 24 last summer. After bone scan, CT scan indicated 3 sites of mets (2 on pelvis, 1 on L5, overall “low volume”). Otherwise feeling great, working out most days. 58. I was finally able to get in this month to see a Medical Oncologist. Starting on ADT next week. Meeting

Firmagon and PSA
Hello All I just wanted to drop in and share my recent progress towards HDR BT. I took my first Firmagon shot on January 9th and had hot flashes and cold clammy sweats two weeks later. Since then they have increased in frequency but I just step outside and the cold air takes care of them in seconds.

IPP Inflatable Penile Implant after PCa Treatment; When to Move on Implant Surgery
Well, as with all things in life, hindsight is 20-20. So it is with my experience with my IPP (inflatable penile prosthesis) after 2 1/2 years of PCa treatment. I was operated on in June, 2020, had IMRT RT Radiation treatment ending May, 2021 and finished a total of 21 months on ADT this past December

Gas pain
I’m waiting for
radiotherapy
ablation and hoping to be listed following a 3 phase ct scan. I’m worried this may show more cancer that MRI doesn’t show. Also I get pain if I get any wind it travels up my back, sometimes feel slight pain in esophagus and shooting pain in back of head.

Post-Salvage Radiation GI side effects?
I'm seeking insights on what others may have experienced after salvage radiation therapy when it comes to their gastrointestinal functions. By way of background, I had a robotic prostatectomy in 2011 and it failed. Last summer I had 35 salvage radiation sessions to the prostate bed only, ending on 27
