Advice on mets needed
Uncle, 83, active, asymptomatic, no diseases other than PC, had RT early 2019, with post- surgical PSA detected at low level, followed by radiation therapy, after which low level psa still persisted but did not increase significantly until recently when it jumped to 3.5, more than doubling in 6 month

Financial Toxicity
I was following a trail of links regarding new and developed radiotherapies for advanced PCa. I found a new term that I had not seen before: Financial Toxicity. The one paper said that higher FT was linked to more aggressive cancers. Well, DUH! I've not seen anywhere where the cost of treatments

Back after a long break, panic attacks.
My trigger was when I was lying in bed thinking about my dad whose currently in hospital after being fitted with a feeding tube after finishing Chemo and
radiotherapy
, he was diagnosed with esophageal/oesophageal cancer in October and I think it only hit me last night.

PSA "negative" PSMA positive metastasis
I believe that one should be vigilant in this disease. With that said I had a follow-up PSMA PET/CT March 13, 2023. It demonstrated a PSMA avid lesion anterior to L3 and behind the Aorta, consensus was that this did not represent an anatomical variant of the celiac ganglion. My PSA was at the time

High risk treatment - go conventional or experimental?
I did find a clinical trial down in Seattle (Stereotactic Body
Radiotherapy
for Stage I-III Prostate Cancer) which is really straightforward that is on my radar too. Need to contact to see if eligible. Says they are still recruiting.

Eligard failure?
Bear with me as I list the details behind my questions. I am currently receiving radiation treatment at UCLA under Dr Kishan on the Viewray (20 treatments vs 5 due to Prostox DNA test showing high risk to long term SE's from higher dose of radiation) and only have 2 treatments to go. Prior to coming

Hello, I start 6 weeks of radiotherapy at end of this month.
My journey to hospital is around 85 mins and I would like to know of anyone in similar situation found it was OK to drive myself to/from hospital daily. Also I work for myself from home (admin'y type from home). How did you find mental ability to work. Any other tips and advice gratefully received ☺️

Active surveillance or not for localisedprostate cancer
Glesson 3+4, dre normal, psa 4.2, no symptoms, grade T2 Value now time quality of life and could go for the surveillance, treatment would be
radiotherapy
and possible hormone therapy with side effects not to be laughed at. Anyone else on active surveillance?
