Nsclc stage 4 with brain mets
He started chemo and
radiotherapy
in Jan and was told although not curative they could help manage and prolong his life. We felt positive as it was two singular tumours, although fairly large, there was just one in the lung and one in the brain.

To treat or not to treat
Prior to
radiotherapy
ADT was ceasing to be effective and my PSA had risen to 6.75. Since 2020 my PSA has been slowly rising to its present level of 1.14. I am getting some intermittent pain from the site of the met on my rib (the other was on vertebra T10).

Advice on bloodwork after radiation treatment?
Hello all, I have been coming back to this forum since finding it a few weeks back, and am looking for some advice and thoughts on my father's case. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer (a very low PSA) back in 2016, underwent a radical prostatectomy that year, and then radiation a year or two later

Failed tumour surgery, what are my options now?
I have since had an MRI to check my suitability for
radiotherapy
, though this may also be difficult/impossible given the position of the tumour. I have been referred to a hospice for pain relief/ palliative care. I am in clinic this week to find out next steps.

Jevtana (Cabazitaxel) before Xofigo (Radium 223)
I have to say my instinct was to try
radiotherapy
before going back to chemo. The Docetaxel has not really reduced my PSA and it is climbing. Mets are mainly in the bones. I'd be grateful for any views and experience of this, either internationally or in UK. Thanks

Newbie !
I had 27
radiotherapy
sessions, 5 chemotherapy sessions and 3 high dose brachytherapy sessions. My bowel issues started very early on and got worse and worse as treatment went on. I finished active treatment on 29th July. I am left with bad bowel/eating issues.
