Posting links to online lung cancer events

Hi everyone

I'm posting links to some online events for lung cancer patients and carers that may be of interest to you. They are run by US organisations but there is no problem with us joining from the UK and they are free. We are able to ask questions using the chat feature too. I've found them fantastic opportunities to learn from leading oncologists.

The Lung Cancer Research Foundation is an American charity and I've joined a number of their excellent events over the last couple of years. This one, on 4th Oct, is an overview of the recent annual World Conference on Lung Cancer. The agenda isn't published yet, but will undoubtedly cover advances in targeted therapies, immunotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery.

(copied from the site - The World Conference on Lung Cancer is the largest international gathering of lung cancer professionals that covers the latest advancements, cutting-edge research, and clinical updates in the field of lung cancer. This conference serves as a platform for scientists, clinicians, researchers, and other healthcare professionals to come together and exchange knowledge, ideas, and experiences.)

I am really looking to this event as its an opportunity to learn so much from so many lung cancer experts across the 6 hours. Its on Friday 3rd November (starting in the middle of the day but please check the timings as they are given as ET!). You can see the agenda on their website and can dip in and out as you wish.

Best wishes to you all, Sarah
