Interruption to radiation due to other health issue; will it impact efficacy?
Has anyone here had an interruption to their radiation from another health event? Did you just pick back up on the radiation treatment as planned or did you break for a while and start all over again? My dad was on day 9 of 20 rounds of radiation and he had a heart attack and needed a stent. He had

looking for advice.
Martin had
radiotherapy
in October 2020 to lymph nodes in the pelvic area. He was also put on ADT for 6 months. PSA dropped to <0.05 and stayed undetectable until August 2021 when it rose to 0.13. We were told not to worry. Bloods in Feb 2022 showed PSA was 8.63 and 7 days later 11.

Now my cancer is now under control, my wife no longer wants to be with me.
I was diagnosed with stage IV prostate cancer, bladder and pelvis in late 2019. I went straight on Casodex and 2 years of Eligard shots. 9 rounds of Docetaxel, kidney stents and VMAT radiation therapy. Following my last PET scan, no new growth was evident and my PSA has been under 1.0 for the last

Brachytherapy for womb cancer
I have consented to this as at my age of 77 l want it to be over and gone as soon as possible and the other option was 30 days of
radiotherapy
. I am not scared of the procedure but wondered how people coped with the 20 hours of lying still and what tricks you may have used to help you through.

5 weeks ago I had asked my own physician for a 3 month post

Life beyond Myelofibrosis
Just previous to that I had to have
radiotherapy
for to shrink my spleen because this can be a problem after the transplant, followed by c 5 days of chemo to kill my own bone marrow. I was between 50-60% fibrotic. I was in hospital for about 6-7 weeks. I could have been out sooner.

Update on Nuclear Scan and where I am at now.
First: thank you all for the kind support I have received since - Much appreciated. To the Nuclear Scan ordered by my GP for suspect spread from bladder cancer to the bones. I got a call from my GP surgery today telling me Dr wanted to let me know, NO bone cancer found. Thant's one worry gone.

ART Effect Of Adjuvant And Salvage Radiotherapy After Radical Prostatectomy On Urinary Continence
Well, I am 'continent' according to the criteria in this study (a bit old, but not ancient)...of course continence here is defined as "no pads or one safety pad." OK. Now, I went into sRT with a safety pad and was warned by my RO that this had a chance of being 'locked in.' I proceeded anyway

Hi! Choices???? RADIATION or......(not radiation!) PCA, Gleason 9, mets in pelvis and (possibly more) Have had chemo 6x doxetaxel
Just finished 6 sessions of doxetaxel Last PSA was 0.21 I've been offered and recommended
radiotherapy
6 sessions (1 a week) specifically to the prostate. I'm 50.... I don't like the sound of some of side effects. Has any one on here had
radiotherapy
for similar reason??? Thanks
