Hi. Diagnosed end of June 2023. Hypothyroidism, due to radiotherapy for head & neck cancer in 2018. TSH, 15.65. T4, 12. Asymptomatic. Commenced Levothyroxine 50mg 4 weeks ago. Feel so tired since starting meds. Bloods due again early September. Any advice welcome please.

Welcome to the forum
50mcg is only the standard starter dose levothyroxine
You will need several further increases in dose over coming months
Blood should be retested 6-8 weeks after each dose change (or brand change) in levothyroxine
ALWAYS test thyroid levels early morning, ideally just before 9am, only drink water between waking and test and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test
Which brand of levothyroxine have you started on
Have you had vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 levels tested yet
Or thyroid antibodies tested for autoimmune thyroid disease
