is being discussed with the MDT but unlikely apparently due to the risks of swelling after treatment and the cystic appearance. A bit anxious about going down the surgery route. Any advice or experience would be greatly recieved.

Meridian Viewray is toast. Can Cyberkife machines use MRI the same way?
Just was unenrolled in a Phase I clinical trial using the Meridian Viewray machine at Dana Farber. Life beyond Myelofibrosis
Just previous to that I had to have
radiotherapy
for to shrink my spleen because this can be a problem after the transplant, followed by c 5 days of chemo to kill my own bone marrow. I was between 50-60% fibrotic. I was in hospital for about 6-7 weeks. I could have been out sooner.

Radiotherapy Completed
Yesterday I completed my 25 daily blasts of fractionated stereotactic
radiotherapy
. Woohoo! No more daily commutes to Chelsea Marsden. Can't say I've had any side effects so far, although my tinnitus seems slightly louder this morning while listening to the radio.

Anybody have bad side effects from Decapeptyl SR in Prostate Cancer treatment?
I was treated for Prostate Cancer supposed to have had adenocarcinoma grade 7, 20
radiotherapy
sessions and three hormone injections of Decapeptyl Sr from 13th June 2022, in the result I did not have Prostate Cancer, but the damage caused to my pectus carinatum/pigeon chest osteoporosis was serious,

Trying to get to retirement before HT
Hi All, I'm currently 65 years old. My PSA level before the biopsy was 8.1, and my Gleason Score was 4+4. Fortunately, there are no signs of metastases. Although my treatment hasn't started yet, it's likely that I'll begin radiation therapy in early December. I'm currently overseas and won't return

Incontinence after RP and ADT
I have had 37 sessions of
radiotherapy
and am in month 16 of 18 hormone therapy in the UK. My incontinence seemed to solve itself around 12 months after RP but never fully. In the past 12 months I still suffer from minor involuntary incontinence.

Radiation treatment for gynecomastia? Anyone?
As we all know, ADT treatments can cause a side effect known as gynecomastia. I am experiencing gynecomastia after being on Orgovyx and am considering the radiation treatment for it. Has anyone out there done the radiation treatment for gynecomastia? How did it work out for you? Did you experience

Does anyone else get the abdominal aches that last weeks after a flare up?
I had
radiotherapy
as part of treatment for rectal cancer back in 2020 and have LARS in combination with PRD. My main symptoms are bowel-related (urgency, clustering, overnight incontinence) and they seem to be getting worse with time.

Attended Late Effects Clinic - Answers at last
When I dont drink enough I have the urge to wee so often with little output and the thought is that the
radiotherapy
has damaged the lining of the bladder and so when the urine becomes concentrated then this causes the issue. Weird huh.

Tamoxifen side effects
After 3 operations, I finished radio therapy for breast cancer (RH side) on 21 August, started Tamoxifen on 6th September. In the last two weeks I’ve been feeling really fatigued especially in the morning, once that eases I’m left with a sensation like I’m drugged, slightly drunk all through the day

lungwort
I was recently diagnosed with lung cancer and I’m having
radiotherapy
at this time. My daughter saw a supplement called Lungwort which she thought might help me. I bought it but I’m now a bit worried about taking it in case it does me harm.

radiotherapy soon
hi , nearly 2 years ago I was diagnosed with prostate cancer, no symptoms or anything, just a random blood test flagged up my PSA was high, after tests, scans and biopsies I was told my Gleason score was 7(4+3) and the cancer was contained within the prostate gland, I had to make a decision either
