recent brain tumour op
Also worried coz been told I will now have
radiotherapy
on brain and this will make me feel nauseous tired hair loss and will set back my rehabilitation. The lack of information is anxiety causing and as as usual I have to self advocate and prepare questions so to understand what’s next.

Enzalutamide (Xtandi): Start at half standard dose to extend efficacy time span?
Since January 2018 I have been on ADT, had docetaxel chemo in April 2018,
radiotherapy
to the prostate, seminal vessel and pelvis in November 2018 when PSA dropped to <0.1. PSMA PET CT scan in March 2019 showed metastasis on spine and hip joint which were treated with SBRT.

Stopping Letrozole
Lorraine was treated in Newcastle with surgery/
radiotherapy
. Happily all is good. Lorraine has been on Letrozole for nearly five years and here in Scotland the practice is to stop the Letrozole at the five year mark.

K2 supplement
I had breast cancer in 2016 and was prescribed Letrozole, and as I had
radiotherapy
too, advised to take iCal and Alendronic Acid. I was diagnosed as osteopaenic after a DEXA scan. I had to stop AA as it made my hands and feet painfully swollen. Unfortunately I fractured my femur in June.

Brain fog, weakness meds or tumour?
I am currently awaiting
radiotherapy
. I take steroids in the morning and Keppra at night and experience a constant brain fog and weakness to limbs which I am unsure as to whether it is due to the meds or the tumour. The brain fog is variable but appears worse if I don't sleep well.

Benefits
They believe my condition has been caused by chemo and
radiotherapy
I had in the past. I am a teacher and have not returned to work. If I am considered not fit to teach by my consultant, am I entitled to any benefits?

Only a few years ago, the cutoff PSA for starting radiation was .5 Now, my doc and others want to start before it gets to .2 (I'm at .11, and I have a "risk factor" due to Gleason 9 score) https://www.cancernetwork.com/view/psa-cut-point-indicates-when-to-start-salvage-

MRI prior to HDR Brachy and HDR intensity.
Hi Friends, Hey, I'm doing well to date in coping with HT and have just had 10 of my 23 VMAT radiation sessions. So far so good. BUT recently I was told that the radiation sessions are nothing compared to the "Brutal" HDR Brachy Boost I am having in mid-August. That wasn't what I wanted to hear, so

Biochemical vs. Clinical Failure
Can someone please explain to me, in language a non-scientific person can understand, the difference between biochemical failure and clinical failure? When I asked my doctor, after radiation treatment, what to expect in the future, he said "there's a 20% chance of biochemical failure but don't worry

A 4 Year Journey
I had a Prostatectomy in July 2020. My PSA was a 5.0 and my Gleason was 3+4. Cancer did not penetrate outer wall of gland. Decipher score was 64. Did Kegels and PT for incontinence....nothing helped and today still very much incontinent. In May 2022 my PSA began to steadily rise from undetectable for

GRATEFUL
Went to appointment with Radiation Oncologist at Emory St. Joseph's Winship Cancer Center - Dr. Bruce Hershatter. Good guy, no BS, straight shooter. He actually drew it out on a sheet of paper (front & back, back was worse) for me and talked me and my friend through the options (1) and pretty much
