ED, ADT and Orgasm

I've been on Lupron for prostate cancer and am in my 4th of 6 months. I finished radiation therapy a month ago.

I'm able to get a really good erection from 100 mg of Viagra but require direct stimulation. Before ADT, I could get hard just *thinking* about sex.

Several guys have told me I'm lucky I can get hard at all while on ADT but the issue is I can't reach orgasm no matter how hard I try--with a partner, solo, using intense vibration toys, etc. It's really frustrating.

I've heard orgasm will come back after I'm done with ADT but have also heard that radiation can permanently destroy the ability to have orgasms (heard that AFTER treatment, it was never mentioned before).

Anyone have any info on this?

I'm 60 and, before radiation, had sex 2x a week and masturbated about 3-4 times a week. Now I'm able to have sex once a week with Viagra, and masturbate with a decent erection 2-3 times a week but can't orgasm with sex or masturbation.

I can't offer direct advice, since my situation is different: had RP (radical prostatectomy), not ADT. The erectile nerves get totally disrupted/damaged and have to (slowly, in my case) heal back to a functional state. Now 28+ months past RP. Sildenafil or tadalafil (the latter is usually slightly more effective) can help me sometimes get an erection close to what I had before. But like you, before RP I could get an erection just thinking about sex.

However, I also had the problem with being unable to orgasm; in my case, the nerve loss also deadened sensation of the required orgasm-stimulation nerves near the head of the penis, so that the level of required manual stimulation (by me or my wife) was now so greatly increased that it was impossible to achieve. I found a "solution": a very powerful male vibrator that was able to generate sufficient stimulation. Now, if I'm ever in a state where I feel I really need to experience an orgasm (a "gotta have it" moment), I'm confident that my vibrator can get me there - it might fail on rare occasion (e.g. I might give up if it seems "taking far too long") but it greatly eases my mind knowing that *next time* I'm almost certain to succeed.

FWIW

Thanks, mind if I ask what is the vibrator you use? I have a LELO that used to do the trick but not anymore.

Here is the manufacturer's page, although I notice it says there that it's sold out (for now): hotoctopuss.com/sex-toys/ma...

However, when I got mine 2 years ago, I bought it from some other seller online, if I recall from Amazon. So if you really want to try this specific one, look around online. Otherwise, there are other "models" in the "solo" vibrator line that can still be purchased, apparently.

It's really getting frustrating. I'm in month 4 of 6 of ADT and still getting decent erections but just can't reach orgasm. Came so close yesterday during sex and really wanted to finish but just couldn't cross that line. Doctor says it's unusual to be able to get aroused at this point and I should count that as a "win" but it doesn't feel like one sometimes.
