Marinol and other cannabinoids
in case anyone has questions, I'll do my best to initially throw some basic experience and knowledge for those who are inquisitive. I can be long winded, so I don't want to ramble. I don't know how to insert a link to an old post, but feel free to check my profile and read through the cannabis basics

Taking it one day at a time!
Hello, I'm 54yo, and was diagnosed with stage 3/Gleason 9/Psa 36, prostate cancer in 2013. I ended up having a prostatectomy that same year. After surgery my Psa went down to 0.164 and slowly made a climb back up to 3.2 by the end of 2014. After doing some extensive reading, in 2015 I became experimental

2nd half of Ocrevus done
Completed 2nd half, feel great. After infusion went to the dispensary to get some CBD oil and green apple flavored gummies. Hoping it works for pain and to be able to sleep. Keep laughing because I have only taken 2 puffs of marijuana in my life and now I have a medical marijuana card.

Introducing myself
I'm Mary, age 57, newly diagnosed stage 3. I had a radical hysterectomy one month ago and only knew about the cancer after histology results last week. I will start chemo soon and know nothing about the drugs or what the experience will be like. Trying to persuade myself that these drugs are my friends

GCA meds
Having followed a recent link to the Patient info site, I read that they seem all in favour of aspirin and adding omeprazole to counteract the side effects of the pred and aspirin combination. Some months ago, I read on this site that aspirin is not necessarily necessary and therefore, neither is omeprazole

Ground Flaxseed, Flaxsee Oil & Flaxseed Oil.
This is a follow-on from my Fred Kummerow post - in response to some questions. Flaxseed contains two elements that might affect PCa progression: lignans that might impede it & alpha-linolenic acid [ALA] that might accelerate it. A tablespoon of flaxseed oil contails a lot of ALA with little or none

Day 2 home from hospital
Hi. I just had a major Ovarian Cancer Debulking surgery. Complete radical hysterectomy appendix removed and the fatty area on my stomach. My Dr removed the bloody mass tumor and believes he got it all. I start Chemo in two weeks after the port placement. I feel waves of tears come on. Is this normal

Stage 1c clear cell
Found clear cell in ovary while pregnant in daughter. 42 years old. long story short she lost baby and had to have radical hysterectomy. Now in chemo. Anyone else had this? We were blind sighted. Seems to be a rare type. Also still has fluid behind cervicak cuff which is a concern. Back to oncologist

Hi everyone. Because I watched "The Truth About Cancer" and liked the page on Facebook, I was recently made aware of another documentary with the title "The Sacred Plant". I have watched 6 of the 7 episodes so far. And I am quite interested in the whole subject. Even before that, I was a firm believer

Will be 20 months after
Radical
Prostatectomy
, so that would be a reasonable wait time. Plus I am covered by my wife's insurance, which will expire after I am 65 on January 2016.
